While it's interesting to note that the statistics are skewed greatly as previoulsy mentioned, it is also interesting to note that DV is also being defined down. It used to just be husband/wife and real violence or abuse. Now yelling, slamming a door and stomping out od a room, grabbing someone by the arm, and even the "silent treatmen"t can be considered DV.

It would be nice if you posted similar video about male victims of domestic violence. Women instigate domestic violence more often than men. They are just not as strong and men are usually ashamed to talk about it. If you take into account verbal and emotional abuse, false allegations and children alienation you would find that men are considerably more abused by women than women by men.

I agree that the system is screwed up; however, the majority of victims in this type of crime are women. That's why you see it more. I agree, there should definately be more awareness of men. And not just women to men; but male on male also.

Some women do beat up their partners which is terrible, but it was recently proven that the largest cause of death for women under 40 is domestic violence. I've been through it, and I know others who have been through it too. Bit depressing that the one's that are supposed to look out for you are becoming the people that hurt you huh?

What do YOU know about it??? I was a police officer for 10 years....not once did I hear of an incident of a woman abusing a man physically. If you worry about men being dependent on their employers, give women equal pay and jobs and we'll deal with the stress equally..,..it's not an excuse to abuse your spouse when you get home. DV is bad but like most others this video shows a female victim and ignores the fact that women are as violent if not more so then men towards their partners and children. All victims deserve to have their side shown.
