  • yeah atleast say you cheated

  • mhmm so like just incase I was wrong about you cheating on it I checked again...at 1:10 it appears you have 1 extra key (example frozen with edited 99999999) attack? because it sure as hell looks like it ..the dragon has full health untill 1:11 then in 1 hit he was dead as a cheat engine by brothersoft could make him..........as far as buffs go I noted the potions next to the pictures must have costed a +5 at the potion shop but...1 hit looked a little toooclever thumbs up if you agree 1:11-1:13

  • LOL so like the dragon misses stomping you and none of your party even needs a potion (not even the level 1 sorce) well done I think we see DM client does its best to keep you safe or maybe you found a hidden level on difficulty like prenewbienovice or ultrasoftcore... Also I'd like to see you take Minsc up against SilverBack on hardsetting....

  • Quick D&D 3.5 based question. Ninja; gets ethereal jaunt cast on him. Approaches an ancient red dragon and enters its body. Moves to the sound of its beating heart. Uses ghost strike to unleash a poisonous furry directly to the heart of the beast. What is the outcome?

  • @dorgodorato complete WIN!

  • does this dude have an insane heal, or what? I drop him to near death, and I chill for a while, and suddenly, he is back to barely injured!!!!

  • The dragon is obviously too weak for a fully prepared team with immunity to fire and high AC. Actually the overall difficulty of the game is low, but I won't blame Obsidian for it as I understand they want more non-core DnD players to enjoy the game, plus they wish those RP players could have fun with their "weak" builds. Great game I would say it is.

  • @damnuok you can boost difficulty in the game options, there's easy, normal, hard and very hard.

  • Sand: "Just tell her yes, and we can run."

  • usernamesusckagain, go and hide your comments to me, you are a nobody. :)

  • I bet you think of yourself as "someone" then ? Full of yourself aren't you ? I wrote something and realised trying to educate morons was a pointless (and endless) task, so I just removed my comment. Have fun in your own little world.

  • You got issues kid, seek help and no I didn't read your worthless comment.

  • @usernamesuckagain for a game published years ago coupled along with state-of-the-art graphics at the time along with an amazing ultra-complete professional toolset developmet kit, I say it wasn't a bad attempt, but that's just me.

  • would cloacks such the cloack of the fire bath and armors such the robe of fire resistant would help in that case?? I usually kill the fire giants after the dragons request and then succeed a diplomatic check, convincing her not to fight me... It's the easiest thing to do.

  • @urcousin1 Pummel her with two-three mages using the missile spell. Can't remember what it is called, mass magic missile maybe? Anyway, she dies pretty quick to that.

  • This dragon was absolutely disappointing... You'd expect her to actually fly away and blast you from the sky since the battle happens at the top of a mountain, but no, she just stays still and dies. Definitely not close to a pen-and-paper experience.

  • Why don't you go make a D&D game then, Im sure we will all praise you.

  • Comment removed

  • I just needed 7 rounds. I had my player as fighter duelist and Qara using lesser Issac's missile and that was it

  • hE'S almost impossible to beat, you seem to have 100 % fuirereduction and 50+ saving throw on fortitide, WTF DUDE!!!

  • Just go fighter/bard/red dragon disciple, man.

  • the best way to defeat that dragon is to have with you qara to cast issac's greater missile and sand with the ray of frost....then you should take elanee or the gith zerai

  • i did it with qara casting isaacs greater missile and elanee casting ice storm. piece of cake

  • Its a shame a lot of people rather create their own server's hosting their own HALF voiced over modules and maps instead of their at lest being 1 single person to Host the Original campaign or even mask of the betrayer from the gold edition of the game i bought....very disapointing I won't be getting to play the original campaign online with anyone now they they've "moved on" I can see now why in games like diablo ii they limit the game to original and expansion game only...no modes..

  • there alot of dragons in this game to kill?

  • @werewolf9205 As far as I can remember there's only 3; this one and then there's two Black Dragons; the Black Dragons aren't named. This is one of two named dragons in the game; the other is nolaloth but he's not actually an enemy. NWN 1 had a lot of dragons especially when compared to NWN 2.

  • I killed that dragon in 3 or 4 rounds,I cast harm with my cleric, harm with Elanee, harm with Githyanki cleric, and full attack with Khelgar and Casavir.Still,a very tough foe for those not well prepared.

  • No, you can't get wings in NWN2. Red Dragon Disciples get a load of ability score boosts and immunities, but sadly they don't get wings. The only playable character who has wings is Kaelyn the Dove from MoTB.

  • in NWN2?

  • do red dragon disciples grow wings at any point?

  • I beat him solo without any buffs, songs or spells. 6 Bard 2 Fighter 10 RDD. Even turned off my inspire courage just for good measure. Didn't even have belt of cloud giant strength at the time. And my greatsword (+5 holy fire) did wasted fire damage and no cold, so I hadn't optimized myself for the battle. And all those bard levels were just for social skills, so my character wasn't optimized for fighting. It did turn out to be a close call, but I won. Is Tholapsyx supposed to be tough? :)

  • Yes, if you turn up the difficulty to hardcore instead of pussy (default).

  • LOL, and of course I played on hardcore difficulty. Default is for beginners, and beginners go epic fail on Tholapsyx anyway. That's what I did when I was a beginner as well. Now I eat red dragons for breakfast. Anyway, do I get thumbs down for bragging? What's the point of being a gamer if you can't brag about it?

  • Oh did I say harcore? I'm sorry, I meant very difficult of course. That's where it actually starts getting hard. Harcore? Pffft.

I didn't thumb you down though. And i don't think it's the bragging so much as it's the... well.

  • look at all his buff! XD

  • I've to use Qara and Sand with their Greater Missiles to defeat it.... It's pretty hard...

  • i thought this was easy, just have 2 or 3 spellcasters, 2 or 3 fighters, put stoneskin on the fighters, energy immunity(fire) on all, then go attack. Fighters are there only to absorb hits and occupy the dragon, the spellcasters are those who deal damage using missile storms and other high damage spells. Dont use spells that have saves though, the dragon have rather high fortitude etc.

Harm is also useful, though you have to go way too close to cast it :X

  • this is really pissing me off, this dragon is bullshit, I cant find its stats anywhere, it uses a spell that regenerates health extremely high, turns white, i thought it was cacoon but thats bullshit cause he can attack, once you get past that shit, his "breathweapon" does hax damage and offers no save.

  • What, you thought killing a dragon would be easy?

Methinks you don't have enough respect for them, which is why you lose. =P

  • protip dumbfuck, breath weapons have SAVES, what your telling me is that ignoring features like the rogues uncanny dodge +x to reflex and my save increasing items is entirely okay to do, rogues GET THESE THINGS because theyre WEAKER than other classes, if they STOP MATTERING cause of HAX dragon i may as well play an NPC class instead of a player class!. its not like there isn't already huge class balance problems in 3.5,

  • ...Chill out--no need to call names, or anything. I was just making passing conversation. Dragons are "Hax", no arguing with that. I don't look deeply into the whole "stats" thing though. I just play the game.

That whole "don't have enough respect for them, which is why you lose" was actually an obscure reference to one of Megatron's lines in the movie--not a smart remark.

  • dragons are not 'hax'

    THIS dragon is hax

because it DOESN'T allow saves when it is supposed to.

  • how is this possible you killed him so fast, did you used stoneskin or what?

  • Where is the sound? :O
