Frank Miller's Spartans would definitely lose, Spartans are wearing virtually no body armor, their weapons would be not all that effective vs Orc armor. Real Spartans would stand a better chance, considering their heavier armor. Interesting question, reminds me of the show "Deadliest Warrior".
