  • heh, a video about engagement and not one question has been answered here!

I love the stuff you do Darren, but I struggle to see the engagement on your blog sometimes.

  • you have had this video on your website for 2 months yet only 11,427 views

    very low turnover ouch

  • Thanks Darren. I find that sometimes the biggest challenge is helping people get over their timidity. I think the key is that people feel you're approachable and that you're interested in what they have to say. You do it well by writing in a very human way -- you're open about your own experiences and challenges, and you're honest about mistakes you've made along the way. Great stuff.

  • yeah like everybody says, it's not an overnight process. I started off using the url shortening service adfly everytime i posted a link on my blog for every click the link gets you make money h t t p : / / a d f . l y / ? i d = 2 9 7 8 8 you have to remove the spaces this isn't spam i'm just sharing a good way to start out :)

  • Excellen :) Darren I appreciate your input. How did you feel about doing this blog? What do you think your readers will do with the information you shared?

  • And why do you want to know Ruthie? ;)

  • you talked so much, I can't even figure out the questions you're giving us... But, good post... You got me pondering on some questions i could ask

  • wow, you talk a lot! but i see where you're going...

  • I always like to listen to you Darren :)

  • Excellent! I'll ask more questions -- those you suggested on my blog. Thank you for your great ideas!

  • I have not been keeping up with my blog, been so busy. But I am also working on more of a site than a blog at the moment. I wrote down your tips, I think I can implement that into the site as well. Allow visitors not only to see my work, but have a way for them to share their thoughts, feelings and their own work if they wish.

Always looking for that new way of interactivity for the viewer. I've been told add to a game section, which I might!

  • excellent ideas, I normally ask my readers their thoughts, and if they have any other examples or ideas that I might of missed.

  • Nice video Darren. You're 100% right. Giving readers the chance to have their own input is vital. I know, I read many blogs. Keep it up!
