It's the actual church that Maria and the Captain (Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer) were married in, in The Sound of Music. Mondsee Cathredral in Salzburg Austria.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting this beautiful clip of Julie, John and Placido. About 5 mins. and 37, 38 seconds into the clip while Placido is singing, the camera goes by Julie's Dad, Ted Wells, and stepmother Win....always brings tears to my eyes.
