@infamousgorn Nope the government is there to protect you from the likes of "DEVILBOY" in page 2/3 of the comment section. What happened in recent days isn't how Bahrain is normally like - you may speak with expats who worked in Bahrain for over 30 years on "We are Bahrain" on Facebook to understand how like really is - not just how it was for 2 days; which marked the first time you even ever heard of Bahrain :P Bahrain was the number 1 friendliest country in Frobes2009 - all this for a reason
Your ant Bahrainy FuuCK OFF You dont know Shit we have been protesting for more than 20 years and getting killed and in prison there are kids who are in jail at the Moment and you Foreigners keep coming and taking our Jobs you all can see the top layer of bahrain but inside we are POOR you dont go to Shia places like karzakan, belad al kaddeem, dmstan, shahrakan YOU CANT you get killed but there its pooooor were so poor i bahrain is a rich country they sever foreigns only but WE ?NO

Lotsa expats live here, they praise Bahrain of providing the most relaxed friendly life style they ever received, making Bahrain the top 1 Friendliest Country according to Frobes 2009.
There's more to research about Bahrain than CNN. ;) The current events, nothing like this ever happened before - and now the police are 100% halted, political prisoners released.
@baelr0g I'm a 20 year old Bahrain and not once have I felt threatened by gunfire in my little island. The recent fatalities were caused by close-range clashes with rubber bullets, where some of the violent protesters approached the police force with knives, the same likes to kill indians simply for being "Sunni foreigners", about 8 indians were brutally killed (and some were even taken hostage into Bahrain's main hospital - videos in my account show) by violent protesters.
@baelr0g On the other hand - Bahrain has been a very peaceful place pre 2011, one with high human development and health care. It's also worth noting that many expats feel more comfortable living in Bahrain than back in Britain and the reasons why can be found on their Facebook page: "we are Bahrain". Only 8 died due to the violent crackdown - which only became violent after some protesters ran into the police force with weaponry - and right after the 8 fatalities continued+
@baelr0g Right after the 8 fatalities (Keep in mind its only 8 after a 3 days of violent protests that included up to 5000+) the police and army completely withdrew afterwards, protesters were allowed to gather in the roundabout again - the government called for dialogue instead; the protests main figures, Al-Wefaq religious extremists, refused. The government released political prisoners. Kicked out 4 corrupt ministers. Laid down 20,000 employment oppritunities and housing project
@baelr0g All in a period of time where not a bullet was shot. No presence of police at the roundabout, as well - in return, protesters, usually young men, under the guidence of religious figures which you can simply see by googling "MEMRI TV state of mehdi" - motivated and pushed protesters to head furher - into occupying the whole capital, blocking roads, forcing Bahrainis not to attend work while they are on their way, and even created a site to expose locations of Sunni exapts (Jordanians)
@baelr0g + Attacking sunni city, Riffa, when the residents in it already expressed they were not welcome, and attempting to invade the financial harbor - stabbing 2 unarmed traffic police (also in my account) - Going for "Shehada" by protesting next to King Hamad's governmental house himself; he responded with water and dates, not bullets. Only then, the police intervened again (With the presence of the Saudi army, protecting government buildings in southern Bahrain)

I like this video about Bahrain, I'm from there myself but I don't live in Bahrain anymore. But something I really didn't like is the fact that most workers aren't Bahraini, which is how it is in Bahrain, but this just shows a poor image of Bahrain and it shows that Bahrain is not employing the Natives, instead, it's employing foreigners that are willing to work for less..

i lived in bahrain for 1 year and 10 month exactely , and it was the best part in my life , it's very quite , and lovely country , i wish to go back again .
i am so sad to leave it . i love bahrain , it's in my blood , will never forget you bahrain.
U guys are mistaken and i don't like the stereo typing, lots of American and Europeans are living peacefully in Bahrain.
Just like when in Paris, or anywhere else, everyone is flirting, ask you out for a date , even more than in the gulf , in Bahrain , people are generally decent, kind, helpfull , cheerful and will help u with no desire to abuse u or take benifits of u !
I absouloutly disagree with the commenters below !
Looks like a lovely nation, I do know it is ahead of its time with rights and freedom. Its more ahead than nations such as Japan and Germany, which I find tough to beleive. How would it be for a 22 year old white American to visit though? lol Not trying to act like an asshole but I know the hiostory of the Middle East. Is it safe if I were to bring for example a 21 year old white female? Kind of sounds prejudice but in fact anywhere you go these days you may run into trouble. Nice vid though!
haha nice...i can tell you,i was in a same situation, but im not american....i brought with me in dubai my blonde gf,every arab wanted to bang her!:D ,you should protect her,or some rich sheikh could steal her:D
if i remember well, this trip wasn´t very cheap at all ,so you must be at least somehow rich...btw do not say anywhere you´re american, they dont like them here...actually i think they don´t like eurepeans like me either!:D
@kimi88cz I'm Bahraini and I have a lot of European and American friends, many of my Bahraini friends do as well. In fact, as far as I've seen, our 5% population of Europeans and Americans in Bahrain are treated with utter respect, which puts Bahrain under the rank of "The number 1 friendliest country" on "Yahoo!", if you go around villages, obviously, not many people are going to like you for being a foreigners, because that's like going to a redneck infested area in the united states.
Bahrain is actually one of the safest countries in the world with some of the lowest crime rates. As NationMaster (A research site) shows. We have a large population of foreigners, including blonde, brunette, and so on, they are living safely. Infact Bahrain has been ranked as the number 1 friendliest country in the world by Yahoo! chart, after Canada. Reasons include; free healthcare, shelter, security and so on
Bahrain is a magnificent place to visit - I enjoyed my six-day visit immensely. People are wonderful and the Kingdom offers something for every tourist. Cheers from US.
bahrain is like any other country fuckin tourist can do wut ever the fuck they wanna do over here this aint no saudi arabia THIS IS BAHRAIN , so dont go fuckin around startin roumers jst cz ur full of
petrucci973 oi idiot you mean free fuck our cunts society where you invite ENGLISH & AMERICANS to get drunk & fuck your sisters while you study in CANADA arab hospitality .. am i invited
soon very soon you will be a colony yet again go down a bottle of whisky ashole
ohh i am on my way to ENJOY bahrain again
son of a bado (shitei)
camel shit gone green
canada my arse come to usa we fuck better . i been to your country its shit country all you have is money ..
who the fuck are u sabsuna to judge bahrain. Women are allowed to wear what ever they want here, bikinis or whatever. they have all the rights a western woman have. we have bars and clubs and a decent social scene.
but if your idea of a vacation is to get drunk and chase whores while ur wife gets in accidents then it is a different story but we can arrange something for you.
Here in Noth America people use he word fuck you.. but in Arabic we use the phase kiss omok... weld il ga7ba ga3ed yet7al6am.. Bahrain is a great country.. alcohol is everywhere, you can smoke WHERE EVER YOU WANT, wear bikinis in any beach you want to be in, we got the biggest american navy base in the gulf region.. i just miss home lol.. wi7shatni il ba7rain walla!
ameen, you son of a bitch.. go and learn how to talk proper or correct english then come and comment.. sabesuna.. you fucking cunt.. im from Bahrain but im going to university here in Canada.. and I say go fuck your self because Bahrain is an open minded country.. clubs bars all over and alcohol is not a big deal AND buddy you better mind your words alright? its just culture, thats the only difference and everywhere you will find close and open minded people or good and bad.. peace motherfucke..
1st of all sabesuna .. there is alchohol in bahrain, 2nd there are many beaches and women are allowed to wear bikinis, 3rd thing its your choice if you wanna have sex or not, 4th thing, no 1 stopped u from smoking .. after all, bahrain is a very liberal place and the people are very kind and easy going, maibe you're the one who messed up your trip .. PEOPLE BAHRAIN IS A VERY NICE PLACE AND I SUGGEST YOU COME HERE AND CHECK IT OUT ..
* 1. Many people go to tourist destinations relatively close to them, I.E. Americans to Mex, Caribb, and Hawaii - Europeans to Palma and Tenerife, etc
* 2. It's relative - Bahrain is conservative compared to the west, but it is WAY more permissive than Saudi Arabia. Try going to the beach in Saudi.
* 3. Not every country has the same values as the west. Even though not allowing bikins sounds extreme to us, to a Saudi being able to use a beach is major
i recommend everyone to visit bahrain its a nice country more than before. now they have everything, every store or place u think off. its awesome u will have the time of your life there. it is definetly the best country in the middle east and gulf.. u get really comfortable there, people love you and welcome you to their country with respect. i love bahrain people. they welcomed me with open arms . i went there for a visit and now i have lived there for 4 years and i plan on staying:)
This guy is a sudanian I know him very will, he does'nt know any thing about Bahrain, he's one of those who's been nationalized lately by the corrupted authorities in Baharin.
lol ... but what a shame none of the was made in bahrain .. & i live in bahrain xp
even the carpets .. they are hand made in iran .. my uncles friend owns a shop even my fathers friends own a shop all of them say its from iran - surya .. if you people ever saw anything written on it made in bahrain just send to me a msg i'll buy at with any cost
Ive lived in bahrain since I was 2, moved there in 1982 and yes it has chaned dramaticaly to suit western society. Bahrain is running low on oil so it needs other resources. One of the reasons Bapco has had a multi billon dollar extension, so it can refine Desiel to japanese standards. Refining Saudi oil is big Bucks!
Im for it, I have bahrain tattooed in arabic at the top of my back, so i hardly hate the place :) although Im not with some of the new rules that are coming to town, i.e alcohol. I feel they will make bahrain loose the chance of people moving to bahrain to fill those nice new villas, unless they are good muslims.
2to be honest i was there for 7 months and didnt find much to do with due respect to small of a country you can get bored if you aint go much to do by religion wise thousand times better then uk at the end of the day is a muslim country
what are you trying to say im a unsocialble twat...excuse me idiot i think i have done more then you could ever do in bahrain i have connections and know more then you ever know, dont talk bout people you dont know at the end of the day i cus it or not its my country
i am from Bahrain thats not all here believe me there r some places u would never find in Europe
there is the finest food restaurants many cool malls and we r the only country in the middle east that is still preserving its culture and many more i would recommend to drink the light maharani's coffee and we have all the places u wanna go u wanna be there come to Bahrain.
Sweetypie000. The world's not perfect, and there isn't one place in the world that doesn't have flaws. The issues you mentioned might exist in Bahrain, but they exist all around the world too. And believe it or not, Bahrain's on the bottom of the list in the Failed States index. Not too far from the United States and England. If you think what goes around in Bahrain is horrible enough to be pointed out, then take a look at the other half of the world, it truly is a more horrible place.
u forgot to mention the appauling poverty, the overworking and killing through exhaustion of pakistanis and phillipinos, the exploitation of chinesse and thai prostitutes and that its known as a saudi's knocking shop.
Sweetypie your obviously a conservative vegetarian that has never stepped foot outside the good ole usa. I am an american who's lived in bahrain for over 4 years and i can honestly say i enjoy a very easy and free lifestyle that is unmatched by many us cities. The crime here is next to zero and and all nationalities and people are welcome. Anyone reading sweetypies comments would be dissillusioned to believe such bs. I highly recommend visiting bahrain. Go see the souk, the clubs, and enjoy

lol, my sisters lived there for 18 years, i've been there at least 4 times for 3 months each time. I'm British. I know many of the Americans on the bases out there too.
You obviously have little exposure to Bahrain whereas I most certainly do. I've been to all the places and a whole lot more.
You're probably a fat American who goes whoring at the seashell (and i'm positive you know that place)
get some fuckin balls if the migrant workers didnt like it why would they come its a better life that back home and no one has ever died from exaustion because of the bad working conditions in bahrain
by the way britain is a shit hole compaired to bahrain i should kno ive lived in both
dude im persian,, i live in bahrain,, & i really prefer UK on bahrain ... at least they r open minded people .. here in bahrain i mean arabs in bahrain they dont want anyone else to live in it ... while the arab in bahrain r originally from yaman .. the real bahraini people r ( bahranis ) ..i hate this place
well then fuck of to iran to eat cheloo kababb , you guys come here to get money and lie to prople and steal and then run away. i also think UK wants to kick u off. If I find you in Bahrain I will send you in a bottle of Mehyawa. I am an arab and am proud to be one.
iran owned bahrain when shah was ruling iran ... no one could get the shah killed untill the pussy arab poisoned him ...
what did the arab do in their life ..?
exept killing mohammed rasool allah & imam ali & ahl bait rasool allah ..
you people killed ur own messenger
& another thing i live in bahrain be4 u were borned .. & i was borned in here .. u 4got 1 thing get money lie to people and steal & MARRY UR GIRLS BECAUSE WE R HANDOME PEOPLE & im bahrani also
borned? Hahaha. What are you blabbing about? No one killed Muhammad. He died by god's well. Get your facts right first, my good friend. You're not making sense and you can barely type in English so. Just shut up.
what does my english got to do with the subject ?u got to ur point im not good at english .. but let us be clear for a second .. " IMAM ALI, FATIMA AL ZAHRA, IMAM HASSAN, IMAM HUSSAIN & THE 9 Infallibles ( imam hussain sons & Grandchildrens )
they were all poisend & killed. dont till me arab people didnt do that
u people learned everything wrong about islam because u people learned sunis doctrine Bahraini people do not want political naturalization the Naturalization is only for suna people.
Arab people didn't do that, no. I didn't, my mother did didn't, my whole family didn't, and every single Arab I know didn't too. The people you're talking about belong to past generations. Snap out and live for today. I can judge you in being a dictators who cares about nothing but invading other countries because of your Persian history, but I'm not, because your history doesn't judge YOU, or any of us. Snap out.
... I only complained about your English once. Stop whining about it already.
Better question: What does something that happened hundreds of years has to do with anyone in Bahrain, or this video? Snap out of the past that you didn't even participate in and live for today.
The Quran doesn't say stuff about 'Arabs'. It says stuff about people. People can come from any part of the world, and in every society you'll find liars, hypocrites, murderers, ect... Even in your beloved Iran. The Quran shows that it's not race thats distinguish people, it's belief.
"because that explains how stupid they r & how stupid they r,,"
We heard you the firs time. How you spell obviously shows how smart YOU are, and how I spell obviously shows how STUPID I am.
HAHAHA. I can speak Arabic and English better than you ever will, and as evidence; Arabic for Arab is عرب not عراب. Secondly, answer me by yourself, logically, how does being of a certain race make you 'less Muslim' than others?
In the Quran it says "There is no difference between an Arab or a foreigner except by Taqwa" Taqwa means religiousness, or good-heartedness.
And there's no possible chance god was talking about Ahel Quraysh to you. He must've been talking about all Arabs as a whole, including the Prophet and Sohaba. Think logically; if Arabs were all "Koffar", wouldn't that make Prophet Mohammed Kaffer too? and if he was Kafer, wouldn't Islam be a fake religion? Based on your logic, this would be the case. Stop making Islam seem like a racist religion that judged whether people are Muslims or not based on their race when it isn't.
i didnt say all of them ... the people Who betrayed the Prophet and their followers, u didnt get my point will dude ... there r many good arab peole in this world ... but in the other hand there is a lot of son of a bitches of them,, most of the Terrorists r arabs,, & im sure that u know its the truth
You're obviously Shi'a, and since I'm not, nor do I know anything about Shi'aism, I won't argue with that. Most terrorist aren't Arabs, though; they are mostly from Pakistan, Afghanistan. The one country where you can find a significant number of "Arab terrorists" is Iraq, and they are mostly Shii'a, but still, they don't represent most of the Shii'a population either, since the Shii'a in Bahrain and Iran are some of the most hospitable one could ever find. The thing is, assholes can come from
any part of the world. It's not based on ethnicity and religion, it's all based on the events people go through by each period of time. The most peaceful country of today could have the most violent people tomorrow.
i know who do u mean buy shia's terrorists ,, u mean sayed hassan nasr allah & moqtada el sadr ?
will my friend i recommend you to watch al-anwar T.V every night 8pm, on KSA time ... i hope that u'll get some informations about shia,, because if i spent 1 year talking to you .. u'll never get to my point
AHAHAHAHA...wow you seem to know alot about this country! i bet you got the chance to meet the nice people there? or the fine food...oh no!! maybe an Island is not the place for you! =P , GET A LIFE =D
Would of been better if they actually put a guy who speaks better English than him. I mean, im Bahraini and this guy is really bad at what he does! Dude!
go to hell!!!! iranian biatch!!!! u are so dreaming and u should know that Iranian girls work as whores in our Arab countries to get some pence,,,, give me one evidence that Bahrain used to be for Iran!!!!!!
Don't listen 2 the Italian comment he is probably Materazzi that loser who plays 4 Inter Milan .... nobody told u 2 mess with ZIDANE ! & don't come back we don't want u !!!!

Nobody likes anybody in this world, its natural for all of us to hate eachother so i dont give a shit about that.
SaLTLiFe4TL 1 year ago
@kimi88cz I'm Bahraini and I have a lot of European and American friends, many of my Bahraini friends do as well. In fact, as far as I've seen, our 5% population of Europeans and Americans in Bahrain are treated with utter respect, which puts Bahrain under the rank of "The number 1 friendliest country" on "Yahoo!", if you go around villages, obviously, not many people are going to like you for being a foreigners, because that's like going to a redneck infested area in the united states.
CreepyLizard 1 year ago
@SaLTLiFe4TL

AMERICANS, EUROPEANS, JAPANESES AND ARGENTINIANS DON´T CHANGE MEXICO FOR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bahrein is a fucking place where everything is forbidden.
Example.- They say they have the best beaches but it´s forbidden to wear bikini in the beach.
well,
What did you expect from the fucking muslim culture?
I watched Bahrein´s tourism in NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL and that country is a big
SHIT (in social sense).
I prefer Mexico and the caribbean!!!
sabesuna 2 years ago
A few things:

Don´t you see how many americans spend their hollydays in the Americas such as Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, bahamas, barbados, etc........
Have you been in Bahrein?
well, I do.
My wife had gotten a car accident and the fucking authorities didn´t let her make a statement since women are opressed.
tourism means: alcohol, bikinies, cigarettes, spring-breaks and sex.
the islamic region wasn't born to be a tourist place.

You obviously have little exposure to Bahrain whereas I most certainly do. I've been to all the places and a whole lot more.

dude im persian,, i live in bahrain,, & i really prefer UK on bahrain ... at least they r open minded people .. here in bahrain i mean arabs in bahrain they dont want anyone else to live in it ... while the arab in bahrain r originally from yaman .. the real bahraini people r ( bahranis ) ..i hate this place

i agree with you there on what you are saying but i personally prefer bahrain than my own country england.
the reason being is i treat the people in bahrain no different to anyone else and for this find a good equalibrium with the real bahraini locals.
My sister on the otherhand, who has lived there for 18 years treats the sunni locals like shit :(

alagy 2 years ago
The Quran doesn't say stuff about 'Arabs'. It says stuff about people. People can come from any part of the world, and in every society you'll find liars, hypocrites, murderers, ect... Even in your beloved Iran. The Quran shows that it's not race thats distinguish people, it's belief.
"because that explains how stupid they r & how stupid they r,,"
We heard you the firs time. How you spell obviously shows how smart YOU are, and how I spell obviously shows how STUPID I am.

alagy 2 years ago
CreepyLizard 2 years ago 2
hahahahaha u can read better than me
piss off i sayed اعراب not عراب
عراب is godfather
أعراب يعني العرب البدو .. و كل العرب اصلهم بدويين
alagy 2 years ago
And there's no possible chance god was talking about Ahel Quraysh to you. He must've been talking about all Arabs as a whole, including the Prophet and Sohaba. Think logically; if Arabs were all "Koffar", wouldn't that make Prophet Mohammed Kaffer too? and if he was Kafer, wouldn't Islam be a fake religion? Based on your logic, this would be the case. Stop making Islam seem like a racist religion that judged whether people are Muslims or not based on their race when it isn't.
CreepyLizard 2 years ago
i didnt say all of them ... the people Who betrayed the Prophet and their followers, u didnt get my point will dude ... there r many good arab peole in this world ... but in the other hand there is a lot of son of a bitches of them,, most of the Terrorists r arabs,, & im sure that u know its the truth
alagy 2 years ago
You're obviously Shi'a, and since I'm not, nor do I know anything about Shi'aism, I won't argue with that. Most terrorist aren't Arabs, though; they are mostly from Pakistan, Afghanistan. The one country where you can find a significant number of "Arab terrorists" is Iraq, and they are mostly Shii'a, but still, they don't represent most of the Shii'a population either, since the Shii'a in Bahrain and Iran are some of the most hospitable one could ever find. The thing is, assholes can come from
CreepyLizard 2 years ago
any part of the world. It's not based on ethnicity and religion, it's all based on the events people go through by each period of time. The most peaceful country of today could have the most violent people tomorrow.
