  • I love this song. The first time I heard this song was the day my grandmother died. It's sad, makes me cry every time I hear!

  • I WAS LIKE WOA AT :46 ARE THEY PLANKING!!!! XD

  • ohhhh Paul is so cute!! Even now he's the cutest granpa ever!! i love him, an i love this song!

  • 2:14 what's wrong paul?

  • Can not wait to see him in detroit next month

  • Agree with lottiesang - this is classical music (with a bit of honey)! Great Job of matching the pictures to the song!

  • I've seen that drawing on Facebook!

  • Where do I find these pictures?? I have a collection of Beatles pictures, and I'd like a lot of them from this video. Any help?

  • 3.23 .. this I dearly love -

  • Both Lennon and McCartney were great writers, but McCartney has always been just a little more appealing for me. I love this song!!!! Thanks for posting, and great job on the video! Actually the entire album McCartney II is great with the possible exception of "Temporary Secretary"

  • Beatiful man! Beatiful life!

  • Great pictures--a lot of rare ones I've never seen before!

  • oh man 0:37

  • Those beautiful boys...

  • Sounds a little like Strawberry Fields Forever.

  • why does paul have to be soo talented and soo beatiful?

  • Nobody can write as many good songs and as much of a variety as any of the Beatles, but I think Paul writes the best classical style music- and in fact Paul has written 3 full orchestral/choral/classical works already in addition to music in practically every other genre

  • Really amazing job on the video

  • Every time you think you've heard just about every Beatles/John/Paul/George/Ringo song you find a new one- and they're all so unique and beautiful

  • aww i want that kitty! how much is it

oh i will just take it! hello kitty i will name you paul mccartney!! heehee ps its at 0:39

  • @marleysgirl100 he's a cute kitty :)

  • @starryblue04 What album is this from ? Never heard this one before !

  • Excellent!!! Great song...Great drawing

  • Lovely!!!!! And your drawing is fabulous!

  • @sarahearls thank you! :)

  • Lol at Ringo riding Paul's shoulders at 1:31

  • Well done. The dissolves fit the tempo of the music very nicely. Good job.

  • thanks! :)

  • You've made a good video, great photos and the drawing is excellent. Thanks

  • when you are Paul, you can afford to write a terrible album like McCartney II, but then you can guarantee, like a master he is able to 'stumble' ...create sheer genius.....and this is one of the most beautiful he has done since leaving the beatles.....infact, it could be a beatle track...wonderful

  • Ah, 1980, Leeds Poly, Fairfax Hall, played loud! Memories!

  • It's almost like Classical music. No one can write pop songs like this, except Paul McCartney.

  • sounds very similar to bowie's low

(1977). macca's been into avante garde since 1965, proper pioneer, he influenced lennon to explore that area and that's how lennon ended up meeting yoko (the indica art gallery funded by macca and barry miles).

  • McCartney is the true avant garde Beatle not Lennon

  • yes, that is very true. lennon initially said avante garde is french for bullshit! he was very suspicious of it. whereas macca's naturally inquisitive nature has led him into all sorts of directions.

  • I would agree about that for the whole McCartney II album. However, I'd have to say this is much more ligthweight. Try comparing this with Warszawa or Subterraneans.

  • yeh, agree with you there

  • 0:44 looks really strange for some reason. they usually didn't do pictures like that in that time period, and that's the same outfit john was wearing when they last performed

  • That is a picture from the film, A hard day's night, while the song Can't buy me love is playing they do all sort off strange things and this is a picture of it!

  • no thats not from a hard days night look at their hair, its much longer and johns wearing his fur coat that he didn't have until a few months after abbey road was released

  • Oh you meab that one my mistake sorry, that foto is from around Yellow Submarine they did a whole shoot with those sort of pictures you can find them anywhere!

  • @ledZeppelin7680 That photo is "Mad Day Out" photo session on July 28, 1968. They took TONS and TONS of photographs that day. 0:42, 0:50, 1:10, 1:18, 1:22, 1:34, and 2:18 are all from the same day of photos!

  • Really beautiful!!!!Makes cry my soul!!!, Thank you Paul for bring joy to our life.

    ´From argentina a ever fan

  • 0:26 - Poor Paul he is getting pushed off! 0:45 - Why is it Paul who gets pushed? 1:15 - awe Paul is holding a baby chicken 1:19 - Paul looks so hot 1:24 - lol Paul 1:32 - LMAO! 1:51 - Awe! 2:11 - AWE! 2:17 - I'm crying lol 2:19 - Cute! 2:52 - omg his eyes <3 3:09 - Paul in a bathing suit <3 3:28 - Awesome drawing!
  • WHERE THIS SONG COME FROM?

  • McCartney II

  • @limunan from the album Coming up, in the 80's I used to listen to this song a lot.

  • @shalott43 Best song on the album which overall was a good album for being different but not great.

ADORE Paul and Linda covered in teddy bears!

  • Thanks! Yes it's a very sweet pic of Paul & Linda.

  • Whomever shot the photo at 3:26 is extraordinaire! Really took it in..

Oh! Your drawing caught my attention. I was rather pleased with your highlight of the years. Appreciate your video!

  • That photo was taken by Paul's daughter Mary - like her mother she's an amazing photographer. Thanks for your comments!

  • Great video.

  • nice job

  • crying listening to this song and riminding to a summer's day whan I was donated my unforgetable cat, just died after 15 years with me....

  • Great collection of photos. I hadn't seen many of them before. And the song just melts my heart -- always been a Paul favorite of mine. Greatest musician of the 20th and 21st centuries.

  • Thanks - I think all his albums contain some really great songs.

  • Nice video. I love many pictures in this and some of them are really "brand new" for me. Your drawing is great thinking you were 16 years old (I like the colors and the idea with the years mixed with characters).

"Summer's Day Song" is an underated song as the famous McCartney II, maybe my favorite album with the first.

  • Thanks! I wanted to share some rare Beatles photos & music with others. I'm planning to make more videos like this soon - I've collected so many of their songs.

My drawing was for a 60's history project - glad you liked it!
