Nor am I, but they're fundamentally different. You yourself recognize the difference, to an extent.

Bounty hunters pursues a criminal/fugitive for a reward (doesn't have to be money) whilst mercenaries fight much like soldiers do in an army, but merely for monetary gain and do not seek to capture a particular person. To a degree, money ties them together, but not necessarily.

That said, I'm wondering what role Wolf will have in this. If he's anything like his assault-self, he wouldn't join.

As for his personality, well, Wolf was a stereotypical evil character in Star Fox 64. In Assault, he has anti-hero qualities - putting his vendetta with Fox aside to battle the Aparoids, fighting to save the Lylat system.

He knows and is willing to fight evil, and as a wolf, he'd likely pick up on who's evil or not relatively quicker than other characters. If Fox ends up fighting against Ganon, Wolf will likely do the same.

As always, great job! Even I was like, "WOW! Captain Falcon is actually helping!" and then, ugh... should of saw it coming. I just hope the EarthBounders will be useful. A little annoyed Peach must play damsel in distress again... but fitting I guess... And was almost yelling at Pikachu to help Donkey Kong out, haha. It was also a little sad to see Samus chasing Pikachu when they teamed up well in subspace emissary.
