Macs are the computers for people that are dumb and can't use a pc, that's why you need a traffic light system to minimize, maximize, or close a program.
Or you need a crap rocket dock thing at the bottom that enlarges icon's because your eyes can't see them. You have a mouse with physically no buttons. Macs are pointless. They may be good for design stuff, but you can do just the same on a pc. Hence why 80% of computer owners, own PC's.
You can build a custom pc with better specs than the Average Mac and still pay less.

The point is why would we want to? Because Mac's are too expensive. The parts to actually build one don't even cost all together $2,000 So if you build your own pc with the same specs or better,you still pay less. Face it macs are just a Fad/Icon

@19Apple97 Hate to break it to you, but it sucks. It's awkward to hold, the new ones do have buttons,but it's only one button, and it's the same as left click. And there's no right click, which is a huge downside for gamers like me. A lot of the time you'll find yourself scrolling when you don't want to because of the touch scroller. All in all, buying a brand new iMac is great, except for the damn mouse.

@IceGod23 trust me you wont regret buying the 27... you can double use it as a TV, and no other computer compares to it especially cuz of the screen. if you are gonna get the 21inch then i would either buy another mac or another PC cuz its not really worth it. and BTW its a dektop, so size isnt really an issue. :D

The resolution of the screen is usually better, as well. So basically, your paying more for less when you buy a PC.
@holycrapitstowlie With Kaspersky for 30 bucks I didin't get a virus in a year. Plus, resolution is bigger when you have a better monitor. And, finally, Mac DOESN'T run a lot of games. The Magic Mouse is so cool! I tried one and I didnt realize it was touch, but I tried scrolling without looking for the wheel/ball and it felt so cool! It feels like when you scroll with the iPhone screen!
I'm not sure whether to get the newest Mac Mini that is around £500 with the magic mouse, wireless keyboard and a dell monitor which will bring it up to £710 or just get a MacBook which is around £600 with iLife (i'm not sure how much it is). The cheapest MacBook is like £750, well the last time I checked it was, it might cost more in London than where ever you are. So it might be cheaper if you got the Mac Mini with the Monitor.

Got he magic mouse today.. This mouse is so superior when compared to their other wireless mouse. So far, it is perfect and the best mouse I have ever used.
I know macs can get viruses there are just very few of them, and if you do get 9 times out of 10 it wont affect anything cuz it wont run in the background without your permission. Also people who run windows on there macs will get viruses just as easy as a regular pc would. i know that some things have to run in the background but thats only so it will run everything else doesnt run untill you run it.

I like using Vista on my Quad core.
I can see all my open windows with 3D flip, simple and stylish glass asthetics appeal to me.
Sort of, they have really great screen resolutions on them. The Vaio L has multitouch though so for an all in one I'd go for that, just my preference.
I am thinking about getting a Macbook pro as a third computer, it's not high on my to-buy list at the moment though.

First things first what video type does your Dell HD monitor use? Im guessing HDMI, so you need a DVI to HDMI adapter. Or, if its not HDMI, then you need a DVI to (Insert video type here) adapter.

I know macs can get viruses there are just very few of them, and if you do get 9 times out of 10 it wont affect anything cuz it wont run in the background without your permission. Also people who run windows on there macs will get viruses just as easy as a regular pc would. i know that some things have to run in the background but thats only so it will run everything else doesnt run untill you run it.

Name 1 feature of Macs that is better than Windows, just 1. The Mac OS is for some people, Windows is for others. People say Microsoft wants money, but at least Microsoft doesn't bond the Windows OS with a Microsoft PC. Oh yeah, I can right-click in Windows without pressing Control.

If people like the interface of OSX then they should use Macs, there is a reason that Windows is the dominant one though and that is because I, like many sensible people who want to work, play games, watch video and listen to music, find Windows the easiest to use.
I like using Vista on my Quad core.
I can see all my open windows with 3D flip, simple and stylish glass asthetics appeal to me.
Crysis.
That is why I prefer Windows.

Sort of, they have really great screen resolutions on them. The Vaio L has multitouch though so for an all in one I'd go for that, just my preference.
I am thinking about getting a Macbook pro as a third computer, it's not high on my to-buy list at the moment though.
Just because I'm a PC doesn't mean I hate Macs.
All the cheap, plastic, crap office PCs running XP give PCs a bad name, I have a self built quad core and know how to use it so it does everything I want.

1. They don't get viruses because virus makers don't care about macs, and that's because the majority of people uses pcs.
2. What do you think happens when you "throw it away"? That's right, you "remove" it.
3. It's impossible to have "nothing" running "in the background". The very concept of an operating system consists of software "running in the background" and switching CPU focus (aka throwing stuff in the background and bringing stuff to the foreground). Study up before you say stuff.

I'm very annoyed with Apple right now! I bought my new macbook (the white one) in August, and now they already have a new one! For the same price! I hate this about apple. The second you buy the newest thing, they come out with something even better. Argh!
But you know, I still love all their products. It's quite impossible not to! Just wish they warned you about upcoming products BEFORE you buy.

my friends 07 macbook pro crashed twice the second time was within a day of it getting it fixed
you should not buy a mac buy an 1,000 dollar asus with 7 which is just as good and way more powerful and macs are more vulnerable to viruses but most people dont download stupid shit that fucks macs up

because i've never had an error with my mac, my pc with vista is always freezing, crashing, or something else not working right, not to mention all the antivirus software that gets in the way, not to mention my mac is faster, everything works on it, it doesn't need drivers for every little thing, i just plug stuff into it and it works, unlike my windows pc, plus i can run windows and os x on my mac
