The most telling point about these views put forward by Hancock is that he has undergone what can only be viewed as character assasination in the UK. Primarily by a BBC Documentary which made his views seem ridiculous when discussed by experts, but Hancock has since demostrated that this was due to misrepresenting his views via clever editing and not broadcasting his refutations of these criticisms. Whatever the view, people should be allowed to ask questions without ridicule.

These muthafuckas...If the pharaoh's lower facial structure diverts out; and vertical water erosion (rain) caused the rounded stones on the sphinx's body...that means the lower part of the pharaoh's jaw would erode the most; same with many hieroglyphs outside and also the pyramid blocks would be rounded.
The fact is the sphinx face to this day is still accurately detailed almost like tut's sarcophagus. The rain didn't eat anything away; especially a whole face.

I am surprised that in this theory none explorers have taken into account the translations of the Sumerian tablets of Enki which states why the pyramids were built and whose face was carved on the Sphinx. In fact, the Bible only contains a record beginning with the Book of Enoch which predates the Mosaic texts up until the writings of the gospels and epistles which were copied in AD 70.
Genesis with an i, records God speaking things into existence but if youll look closely it doesnt mention God actually speaking Earth into being. In fact, there seems to be a lot missing between Let there Be Light, and God creating man.

The Bible is not easily understood by casual readers. The Bible is the most honest book there is. Before the flood, the bible says "Noah was a righteous man." After the flood, the bible says Noah was a drunk. Yet God used Noah as the seed of the righteous to repopulate the earth after the flood. I don't know. One night it came to me in a dream that the mystery to the universe is located there. As I get older I am not having these visions any longer. I used to have some very weird dreams that it would take up too much space to name them all. Unfortunately or should I say thank goodness I barely have them any longer.

Yeah, I love this documentary, but I'm still disapointed : Discovery has changed quite a bit since the mid 1990's. It's gotten so sensationalistic in the ideas presented, basically just targeting ratings, not scientific doxa. So much for «popular education». Ditto for TLC - «The Learning Channel» used to show only scientific documentaries, now it stands more for «Tender Loving Care», with home makeover shows like «Trading Spaces». Not much on t.v. for documentary amateurs.
