I think one of my favorite moments in this show was when Cpt Marcus piloted a battered and beaten Resolute into the Neosapien fleet as it explodes during the episode Brood. Watching that as a kid...sticks with you over the years.

@Dredhawk10 I think what made this show endearing to those who remembered it was both the character development and serialistic format used by the writers. Most cartoons at that time were episodic and never connected. This show had several story arcs that led into another all throughout its run. X-men used this formula for its first 2 seasons and dropped the formula by season 3, and Gargoyles began implementing it by its second season.

@Dredhawk10 What impressed me about the show was that the use of mechs was almost an afterthought -- secondary to the development of the plot of the characters. They could have easily gone down that route and tried to sell itself solely on the use of mechs, given that anime was beginning to enter into the collective awareness of the 90's generation.

I love this show! Why can't modern North American cartoons be half as good? Oh yeah, that's right, because we'd rather watch UnReality TV with brain-dead over-sexed idiots than a show with quality themes such as racism and equality! Give me X-Men, Batman, Justice League or this instead of more UnReality shows.

@x1commander They give us only pacifistic shit without meaning. Only sex and dumbness are going throught TV. In this show there was a great story (none was white, because humans enslaved clones). Kids were thinking what's good and wrong. Nowdays they think how is trendy and sexy, believe me young people are less and less diligent and smart :( (sorry for my english it's not my first language :P ).

It was one of fav cartoons from the 90s next to the x-men series. you cant compare exo squad to gundam. gundam as overall 31 years 1979-2010 gundam has 20 plus series,OVAs, multiply movies. anyways One thing that i hated with Exo Squad they never finish the series that drives me up the wall when they just ended it with out an ending. they can at least make a rushed ending or someting

ofcourse they did. Pheaton dies :P As i remeber he planned to detonate anti-material bomb and destroy entire world. Alec dylan dies on The moon, Rita earlier and all live happy and long^^
