ken block and pastrana are complete amateurs when it comes to world rally, block is in an s2000 car now, thats what the young boys start off in in most other countries, jwrc, block is a junior, compared to the rest. its just american marketing that makes people think other wise. editing clips of dog nuts and a few drifts that took many many more takes than one, makes this guy a superstar? pfff. i hope he proves us wrong. i wear DC shoes, am i a rally star? :D

And the base for the race car really dosn't matter when there so heavily tuned for all out rallying, any stock car trying to do what its rally brother dose would not last long before hitting a tree

@kltharindra Rally was huge before Subaru even started, there AWD made them great but rally is vary much alive aslong as there are people tuning cars for it or just racing as is, becuse the true rallyiig is done without huge sponcers, europe has always been the birth place of rally driving as there weather has always required drivers to be able to drive on snow and ice... the Scandinavian Flick... European, hell they hold races with near stock Volvo's... and always have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Japanese economy is fucked, and they cannot afford paying or sponsoring races with their cars, running the risk of losing money if things doesnt go right. Suzuki did the same, they are not in WRC, either. They have to focus on improving SALES, rather than sponsoring events.

Take in consideration they werent able to win many of the races along the whole seasson. All other teams sponsored by Citroen and Ford got way better scores and positions on the stack rank (specially the "unbeatable" Sebastien Loeb and his Citroen C4). Subaru just noted the money going out of their pocket, and not coming back. Same goes for Suzuki.

Btw it will race in 2009 wrc, but it will by controled by another people or business, i cant explain.
