  • It has a nice low RPM growl but it doesn't sound very good at higher rpm.

  • corsa cant install their own tips.

  • Uh...your tips are wrong....fire your exhaust guy

  • I'm not really diggin the exhaust. Sounds kinda raspy if you ask me.

  • they need to make a Boss 429 since they did the 302

  • Not a fan of the tips either. Turn them straight up. Exhaust sounds pretty good though.

  • @burkcs The tips are classic corsa. Mine came the same way, nothing we can do to change it. Mine aren`t as far out as the videos but they are pretty much the same.

  • How about this: Gt gets this engine, and put a non supercharged 5.4 in the Boss.

  • @cmaszerowski remember now that non boosted shelby 5.4 only make 455Hp so really it wouldnt be worth the time what they should do it but the boss 302 in the gt and for the boss make it an boss 351 with about 520Hp that would be something.

  • @GoGoggansGo Where do you get 455 hp? What does Shelby do to that 5.4 (minus the blower) to get 455 naturally aspirated horsepower? I'm not familiar with this

  • @DeAdiSSu3 without the supercharger with pushed 9 psi or pounds per square inch. The shelby would only make around 455Hp remember for every pound of supercharged boost it about 10-15Hp. So if you take a stock 2010 mustang gt 4.6 with 315hp and ad 5 pounds of boost you can get anywhere from 360Hp to 400Hp depending on the tune and air fuel ratio. Hope this helps.

  • @GoGoggansGo Well yes, I know about most of that, I was asking about the 5.4 liter v8 specificly, as I recall, in the f150's it only produced 320 hp or so. I'm wondering if shelby does higher-flow heads or higher-lift camshafts etc. on that 5.4 before they supercharge it?

  • @DeAdiSSu3 Thats because the f-150 was Single Over Head Cam SOHC not Dual Over Head Cam DOHC. It had only 3 valves per cylinder the gt500 has 4 the gt500 motor 2011 and up is the same motor used in the Ford Gt because of it alumium block.

  • @GoGoggansGo Oh okay, I understand now. Thanks for the info, here I was thinking the 5.4 truck motor was a DOHC for some reason.

  • @DeAdiSSu3 no problem glad to help.

  • @GoGoggansGo Lol that 10-15 hp per pound of boost is really stupid. There is no calculation like that it depends on size and current output of the engine as well as the quality and efficiency of the supercharger.

Ex- The 2011 mustang gt 412 hp makes 605 with 6 or 8 psi... 8x15 is 120 hp but the gain is almost 200 hp...

  • @W4TCH4W no you are the fool it all depends on what brand of supercharger and the tune. So for example I can ad a ford racing whipple supercharger with 5 PSI to a 2010 mustang gt and get an even 400hp with the tune. You may no believe it but superchargers are very temperamental it all depends really on the tune and how big or small the pulley is. So that comment was really dumb you said and I my college major is auto tech end of discussion.

  • @GoGoggansGo I was rethinking my idea, and said they should just make the Boss 351.

  • @cmaszerowski yeah make a boss 351 after this run of boss 302s =)

  • @cmaszerowski i got a better idea keep the gt idea but instead make an 351 boss with DOHC and aroung 500Hp naturally aspriated

  • @GoGoggansGo Exactly boss is not very good bang for the buck ( at least ford can do better... ) They should keep the price same with that 351 too... Than it would be great i bet they can manage that...

  • @cmaszerowski why would you but the 5.4 in the boss?

  • @cmaszerowski Then the cheapest v8 mustang would be at least 35k and there is no reason to raise the prices at this time...

  • @cmaszerowski this engine is way better then the non supercharged 5.4 first of al this engine is direct injection twin overhead cam. the 5.4 is pushrod multiport fuel injeciton. also this engine has an all aluminum block and revs to 7k RPM

  • @BassRacerx The 5.0 is not yet direct injection, and in the boss with the track key it revs to 8k

  • @cmaszerowski 5.0 is way ahead of the 5.4 in terms of technology

  • @cmaszerowski It's the Boss 302 because of the 302ci engine (the 5.0).

  • @cmaszerowski Well for one, that would make no sense with the name, Boss 302...

  • @cmaszerowski then it wouldn't be the iconic boss 302.....

  • @cmaszerowski Terrible idea. The 5.4L heads don't flow as well as these do. The 5.4L doesn't have Ti-VCT, or any of the block modifications that the new Coyote based motors have. That would be a pretty significant step backwards.

  • @cmaszerowski it wouldnt be a boss 302 then would it

  • I'd rather hear the expensive engine sound coming from under the hood than louder tailpipe noise.

  • Is this a car or a pop-corn machine/?

  • Oh i love that pop!

  • Too poppy for me.

  • Not a fan of how you rotated the tips 90 deg, looks cross-eyed or something.

  • @typhoon5000 slightly retarded, yet awesome still

  • @typhoon5000 i like it. it blends in with the body

  • @typhoon5000 I think the tips turned 45 deg. looks good and visually fills the bumper cutout better with more of the bevel visable.

  • Red or Black Key?
