The thing that is so beautiful about Alicia's voice is that she allows herself to vocalize her pure emotion. I made a cover of this song, and my rendition sounds flat and lifeless compared to hers. It makes me wish that I had a studio where I could sang LOUD and not disturb my neighbors.
