Anyone else find it a tad bit strange that the amp is the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and then shortly after Chappers mentions the amp, the Captain brings up the point of not many guitar have a mini-humbucker. Chappers' response was the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe telecaster, which of course he was right. So does anyone else find that strange that the amp is mentioned then the guitar of the same name?

i'm going crazy, when i think of getting this guitar - since Gibson discontinued Nighthawk and I don't have money for used one, i started researching and listening to demos of Epi NH. and i'm seriously concerned about it's sound quality, expecially when clean - is it the amp, microphone or something else, what makes the sound a bit... muddy? of course, it's not Strat, but clean NH seems to sound always a bit muddy. so, is it NH's fault, or bad recording? or anything else? thanks!

I have noticed that epi's really other than the name on the headstock are very close to a real gibson. for the money you can not beat em. you can have nearly 4 nice epis for the price of a gibson standard and the tone is quite equal almost.
