I think they seperated them because Fettel was to dangerous and they didnt kill him they just knocked him out...As for Fettal having a hole in his head at the endin of fear 1 u r playin as PM and you r in a elite group called first encounter assault recon or (F.E.A.R) u r huntin Fettel(becaue he is evil) and when u final find him he tells u that u and him r brother and Alma is your mother

@Casshyr Those kids are Fettle (red stripe PJ's, head bandage) and the point man (plain cloths). The scene depicts fettle being taken away to be brutalized in order to boost his psychic powers. He returns, almost dead and the Point man is taken away forever to be raised elsewhere. Fettle is left all alone to cope with the horrors Armacham is conducting on him. Alma finds him and he seeks revenge and kills all those people who come into his room.

A shame that after this they can't really continue the series, kinda broke it for the pointman/fettel/alma storyline. Could only really be a Fear 4 with the child as the center of it all years later...... But heres a question. How does the game end if you play co op and 1 player has 2 of the highest stats and the other has 2 as well? Seems like there could be another ending.

@MrRalastial you know, i think it's about time they ended the storyline featuring pointman/alma/fettel....not saying fear 2 and 3 were bad, they were ok, but it just wasn't the same after the first....seems like they just lost their direction a bit...felt like they didn't know how to continue the story properly after fear 1...maybe it's time they ended the series or create a completely new storyline or timeline
