All these mech strategy games are easy to figure out. Only one i ever had a problem with was Super Robot Wars Scramble Commander, but that was a real time Strategy game and also it kinda sucked... :/

It is, in some sense. You must remember that it is a mod made by Kyoshiro PURELY for aesthetics and combat abilities. Hence heavy armour, toyish looks!

I guess the Perfect Gundam was still a sensible enough and popular enough design that it was retroactively inserted into the canonical Expanded Universe?

It's kind of amusing that Perfect Gundam consists of an entire refit package (and a delivery fighter in the SD kit version), but Perfect Zeong's just the completed, original MSN-02 Zeong design complete with a pair of legs!

Actually the thing inspired FA-78-1. But the FA-78-1 parts were never built. FA-78-2 [Heavy Gundam] was though since that was a full suit.

The 2nd link from the top you should get is the Mecha Anime Headquarters profile page for the Perfect Zeong. Notice that even the unit's model number didn't change.

Aye. I guess the Zeonic Company designers didn't think the Zeong design needed any more tweaking.

But I have to say that even when it was incomplete, it was still pretty menacing because of how big it was compared to a typical mobile suit and its deadly Newtype weaponry!

There is another version of the Perfect Zeong. Try another search for "Perfect Zeong Mark II" and click on the first link that Google gives you. This design comes from Plamo Kyoshiro, just like the Perfect Gundam did.

Note that the dialogue box for the Zeon pilot is red, this mean that he is an enemy. The dialogue box for the Feddie pilot is yellow, this mean that he is also an enemy, but he is not an ally of the other enemy faction. Also, on that stage, you have to defeat both the Zeon and the Federation to clear the stage.
