Dodge just HAS the best engine. Cummins is its own company. Ford makes its own diesels so therefore it makes the best. Because a Duramax is made by Izuzu. So outta the 3, only Ford actually makes its own. Just the latest motor though, all before it was made by International :p

I'm a Ford guy. But I just bought a 1999 Dodge 3500 24 valve Cummins turbo diesel. It's a 5 speed dually. Looks just like the one in the video but its white. I LOVE it. Only paid $5600 for it. I'll make a video of it later

@dominic969 Probably by some margin. I wouldn't have MTs unless you spent most of the time in the mud though. The ATs are generally for 50/50 mud/tarmac. I'm running 33" A/T's on a lifted 4Runner and still get 23/24mpg. I usually cruise about 80mph though so pretty much full turbo boost all the time. My 4Runner would have had no issues getting up that muddy bank in RWD, although my diff is locked

You need a single rear wheel truck for that kinda of stuff , the two extra wheels in the back only hurt you off road, the two extra wheels in the back distribute the weight to four wheels instead of two and in mud and snow you need the tires to dig in more.

A tanks huge amount of weight and the large amount of surface area of the tracks allow the tank to get through rough terrain. If the tank was as light as a vehicle and the tracks were as short as tires you wouldn't go anywhere in mud
