Anyone gushing about the H1 being able to do this was obviously not paying attention between 0:35 and 0:45. Sad that some people can't just accept some (not all) vehicles do some (not all) things better than some (not all) other stuff. I like the hummer. I also like the land rover and the land cruiser and the Unimog and the Viking and the Bv206. No one vehicle is the best at everything. Get over yourselves and enjoy them all for what they are. Well engineered solutions for specific tasks.

Very clever man once said: It's not difficult to make a vehicle with 4000cc engine, but it's difficult to make a vehicle with small engine, good fuel consumption, durability and performance that will do the job.

@xmodrock Sorry but Landover is not part of the ford group it is owned by TATA motors in India they bought it in March 2008. Ford did own the rights to Land rover for a short period after BMW bought the company from Rover but they were still designed and developed in the UK until recently almost all of their design and development is done in the UK but sadly assembly is being moved to china. So Land Rover is certainly is not an American car.
