At the beginning of the video I had a lump in my throat. The parts where Liz remembers Harry are so sad. And the idea of the body of Harry... I got shivers just thinking about it =( As a result, I practically jumped for joy when he got up (3.54 - 4.13 I'm in love with this moment). The end is greater (why, why, why Raimi didn't put Liz in at least one of the movies? So Bernard could have responded differently to the question: "Bernard, do I have any girlfriends?"). Good job!

@9Pepe4 Hehe, thank you. I agree, if Liz was so canon in comics I don't understand why they didn't let Harry be happy, at least a little bit, before killing him. They did everything to him: making him an orphan, making him a loner -no wife, no son, no family... just Bernard, but he's way too old for him XD-, scarring him and killing him.

But the idea that Harry could come back makes sense. In comics, he died because a heart attack -due to the Goblin Formula-, but in the movie he's impaled with his glider like his father. But in comics his father didn't die -came back to life some hours after being impaled, I was expecting to see Norman again in next movies-, so why couldn't Harry do the same?

But, with the reboot, that whole thing is over (at least with James Franco). Hate the reboot ¬¬

Well I found Amazing Fantasy on Amazon but I couldn't find the issue where Gwen Stacy died because I don't know the number of that issue.

By the way do you recommend Ultimate Spider-Man?

In Wikipedia you can see Gwen dies in The Amazing Spider-Man #121 issue.

I like USM, but I have read only until issue 120 or so. It's a retelling of Spidey's story with high-school scenario, with many cameos and guest stars from the Marvelverse (X-Men, SHIELD, etc.). Some characters and stories are strongly changed, but I don't mind too much (maybe you do). Peter is a teen, with teen's problems. It's OK. OMD and BND actually are in the original universe but IMO they are worse.

Those issues you want to buy are good but aren't they sold out? I liked the Amazing Spider-man comics by Romita Jr, but there are many issues. Recently, I liked Civil War miniseries, but they were about all Marvelverse not just Spidey. I read OMD and BND and they were original but I didn't like them.

Well, good luck. I'm sure, whatever you buy from Spidey, you're going to like them, it's a great comic!

But Liz didn't openly warm up to Peter until after he took MJ to the dance. Liz spent time with Peter during a carnival which led to Flash breaking up with her.

First she didn't pay attention to Peter when she was with Flash, but she gradually was becoming attracted to him, and in the graduation she admitted she had a crush on him. But it was too late: he was not interested in her anymore. But they remained friends and he helped her with her problem with his step-brother the Molten Man.

I have seen just one chapter of The Spectacular Spider-man so I can't tell the differences between those versions. I found the new Liz a bit shallow, spoilt brat. The original Liz wasn't like that. Well, maybe at first she was (in the first comics she was just the "popular girl" who was dating Flash Thompson), but later she changed and became a kind girl, the only one who cared for Peter in the school (she even had a crush on him XD). Peter has always considered her to be one of his best friends

What's Liz Allan like in the comics? I've never read a Spider-Man comic book before because the closest city near my home is 20 miles away and to my knowledge they don't have a comic book shop. There's another city that might have a comic book shop but it's 65 miles away and I don't think a comic book is worth the trip.

My first exposure to Liz Allan is through The Spectacular Spider-Man and I've kind of gotten use to seeing Liz being portrayed as a Puerto Rican.

Well, I have the comics, even the first ones, though I downloaded them (if you want too, you can download them in cbr or cbz format and read them with a CDisplay program. Quite useful).

The Liz from the comics (and also from Spider-man TAS) is a blonde with blue eyes. In The Spectacular Spider-man she has Hispanic features because the creators wanted a "multiracial cast", and they changed her features (that's what I read).

Thanks for the creative thing. The actress is Reese Witherspoon (except in clips from Sonny, that's Mena Suvari). I don't see where is the problem with that couple (or any other couple from any fandom) having sex, being married or not. We're in 21st century, and they love each other. That's enough for me.
