Thi isnt a cut scene... its in the game... a cut scene is when they take clips out of the game because either:

a: it was uneccessary

or

b: it just didnt fit into the game story.

So they are stronger. So what? they are blind followers of the prophets, and not the ultimate purpose of the honor guards. If the elites were still by the prphets' sides, they would have gotten that rather nasty critter off him immediately! they are supposed to PROTECT their leaders. brutes do get awesome armour in h3, though... they look like nightmare.
