@ecko338 Silly! That's how it's meant to work! Now if you move your finger, the record will move too.

the turntable plays and than when i touch it it freezes and wont move again(i can scratch like pro in baby scratch)

dunno maybe app collision or some tweak but baby scratch works fine and it's the same engine... weird

@HAWXLEADER 4.3.2 is way out of date, try updating to 4.3.5 and reinstalling from the appstore. cheers

@gtasandman playing as a loop is easy - you select the song and tap Loop. Then tap Done, and the loop button in the top right corner will stop and start the current loop. maybe I'll add that to the FAQ.

Maybe even have the zoom function utilising the whole length of the the screen!thus showing more record! At one corner the trans button with volume and stop in the bottom! Giving much more usable area for working the whole sample, as you have to be careful not to let too much play out before scuffling back to your cue point?

The tone arm is more of a hindrance, sometime flicks off when your scratching, and the button in the middle is just to start stop the tune? But that's also what the little red one does? The middle of the record sometimes gets tapped when scratching too! Maybe taking it back to very basic! Record! Play/pause platter! Transform and play loop button! The other features could be utilised in the menu!

Hey, this is a funky app... Il post a flare vid soon! Check my vids out tho! On an update is there a way to swing the deck zoom round to use it properly left handed?as it only zooms in closest to the trans button! In effect your scratching backwards!maybe a technics skin too?how's about 2 decks? With a swipe in the corner like switching through iPhone menu pages!but between decks?flare mix!

Don't waste time on the cracked version of this out there, it's screwed. I have a paid copy of this but have two apple ID's.. that hackulous crap I tell you. worst thing for ipods period.. screws tiny devs just trying to 'scratch' by and gives crap performance on some apps.

I wish baby scratch had the funky neo skin like flare. Wish they both had speed control.

Amazing app. But I'm having an issue when I touch the record it's spins real fast and jumps past the section I want to scratch over and then I can't get back to that same part it's always just spins to fast foward? What can I do?

Yes, it works with IE. Flare needs to remain open while you connect, and your computer and the iphone need to be connected to the same router. Google the Flare FAQ for more troubleshooting.

@iflarescratch - Thanks for the quick reply. In my opinion, one feature that would have made this a perfect program is a way to adjust tempo. I make my own battle records and I will be using a combination of acapellas and scratches on one mp3. But, just adding a feature to upload my own loops is good enough for me.

Ok, so you select a file and then hit submit.

At this point it's on your itouch.

In flare you then rotate the record until you see your song then hit the label to start playing.

how do i make a scratch sound without stopping my uploaded song? like when i scratch, the song stops, you just hear the scratch, then you let go, and the song comes back, is there a way to stop that?

maybe you want your song to be the backing track, then you could scratch over it. we're adding uploadable backing tracks, so in the meantime you'll just have to buy a second iphone and install flare on it. p.s. this is why DJs have two turntables.
