The little jibes are scattered around in a few their scenes, and I don't remember the numbers, lol. I love this friendship post high school, but B was pretty cruel about things in the early seasons
I think Sophia is the one who did the amazing acting in this scene. Yeah, Hilarie did some amazing acting in the second portion of the scene, but Sophia had the character who had to cross enemy lines. Not to mention, Brooke is the character who grows the most as a person - yes Peyton does progress through the story line as the main female antagonist, but Brooke defies who the writers initially made her out to be. This scene is one of those that defines Sophia as an actress, amen.

Yes, the actress was actually great in this scene. I remember Hilarie during the first few episodes of One Tree Hill in Season 1. She was awful in my opinion as an actress. But I noticed she became better as the seasons went by. And I loved this scene.

Peyton took Lucas there so that he could steal something for Brooke, but when Brooke turned up she saw him and Peyton walking out of the store and wrongly assumed that they had completely forgotten about her birthday

Not to mention, Brooke is the character who grows the most as a person - yes Peyton does progress through the story line as the main female antagonist, but Brooke defies who the writers initially made her out to be. This scene is one of those that defines Sophia as an actress, amen.

Yes, the actress was actually great in this scene. I remember Hilarie during the first few episodes of One Tree Hill in Season 1. She was awful in my opinion as an actress. But I noticed she became better as the seasons went by. And I loved this scene.

Peyton took Lucas there so that he could steal something for Brooke, but when Brooke turned up she saw him and Peyton walking out of the store and wrongly assumed that they had completely forgotten about her birthday

This episode shows what happened two years earlier, doesn't it? so that means that they broke up but got back together and it was long before peyton and lucas even became friends. This also means that brooke didn't tell peyton even if she and nathan got back together a while after. I wish more people could considerate this point

I don't care about the whole Lucas love triangle, that's miniscule, but the fact that Peyton and Brooke have been friends since forever, before Lucas even came into the picture. And to sit there and crack jokes about Peyton's "dead mothers" was HIGHLY uncalled for. And Brooke knew that. But she said it anyway. I think that that is WAY MORE unforgiveable than "kissing" Lucas.

I think there is a big change on this scene. At the first minute Peyton was the bitch and Brooke was the one who get hurt. But after that minute Brooke was the bitch. They both done something wrong but both learn from the mistakes they have made.
It was great acting from them (Sophia and Hilarie).

And wasn't she the one who kept telling him: "We need to tell Brooke" "We are horrible people for what we're doing to her" and SHE walked away from HIM even when she knew that she was in love with him.

Dude, I scroll though like not even 1/3 of these comments and all i'm seeing is the same thing: Arguments over who was right and wrong.
