  • God bless NATO, her allies, and anyone serving in Afghanistan :) greetings from the UK :D

  • I'm an ex SSG German Army..I'll never forget my brothers in arms..The Brave American Soldier

  • their awards look so much more cooler

  • Just for curiousity: Can a foreign soldier be decorated witht the American Medal of Honor?

  • @MrRammsteinKicksAss No he can not be awarded the medal of honour but there is an equivalant for civilans that has been awarded to foreign military personal. The Legion of Merit order is the medal that can be given to foreign Military personal. Look it up in Wikipedia.

  • There are very few countries that I, as a US Patriot, feel brotherly towards, and Germany is the most brotherly. God bless Germany and the US

  • @siegeghost100 Thank you and the same goes for you. I hope we´ll alway have each others back´s out there if need be.

  • brought me to tears very beautiful video!

  • When the hounds of Hell are nipping at your heels, you will NOT, NOT care who comes to your rescue! OMG! A GERMAN freakin' Gold Cross...this is unbelievable! The German's have such enormous pride when it comes these crosses. Crosses ARE the epitome of the German ideal of an honor-and Gold-Holy Cow!!! THIS is huge! In my personal experience, in the military and on every Nato base in Europe: Half the Germans I met expressed the idea that they were superior racially, the others sweet chocolate!

  • @ferroxian

So, what do you want to express?

If you don´t think this decoration is a big deal, why do you waste space here under this video?

Racially superior . . , interesting germans you met there. I actually never met a german who claimed that. And I highly doubt anyone who actually thinks that would express it in public. Especial in presence of foreign troops. Might be an instant career killer if reported. Either this is about an language barrier, or you are writing BS.

  • @ferroxian

And what´s your problem with crosses?

Lots of US decorations contain stars, like that ugly Congressional Medal of Honor.

You think stars a somehow a better symbol?

  • THIS IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL VIDEO. i live and work here in Germany. I LOVE Germany and the German people!!!!

  • So glad to see this happening. Many, many Americans are of German descent and our countries have historic and ethinc ties. Ich bin Deutsche-Amerikaner und das macht mir stolz! Gruesse aus Deutsch-Amerika

  • Dem Großen kommen gleich die Tränen, er is so toll :'D thanks for your humanity

  • its fasanating to see soldiers form around the world helping each other wile one genaration ago they were enemys i bet some day even Irac and iran will be a allies aginst a new enemy however its sad that humankind will allways be lookig for a new enemy out of each other....

  • @manualmaniac1

I agree...it's interesting to see...i don't think a potential WW3 will involve any US vs Germany situation. The two countries, especially in terms of military have grown so close, i think we'd stand across the line staring at each other going: "Do what now????" I spent many days with our American counterparts and to be honest, i think we're closer to them than the brits. Not to say i wouldn't do my best to kick any non-Europeans ass for messing with our "island brothers". lol

  • This is the real deal, no Rambo bullshit, The enemy is firing live rounds, this is as serious as it gets. Thank you for helping our Kameraden and everyone else. You have more balls than everyone who sits on the couch in the evening and gives you crap. Don't take any shit from anyone.

  • @saylikubac i wish the palestinians could get their own state to teach you Israelis a lesson....

  • @saylikubac I doubt your from Israel.. you would have to be retarded to slander your closest ally

  • @saylikubac Is this necessary?!

  • @saylikubac And if you were attacked, USA would be the first to come help you. You shouldn't be so hostile towards your allies.

  • God bless the USA and Germany.

  • Iif i would be an american soldier, i would be a lot more proud to get a "medal of honor" from an other country instead my own^^

This is something - really - special!

  • i love germany im from the u.s but i really like germany a lot and id die with as much pride fighting for my country (america) as helping protect germany and dying as well i dont like russia though =) but USA and GERMANY forever!

  • Wow! :')

  • The new iron cross for our US allies... bravo!

  • @Hermod70 its not the new iron cross

  • we fought with the german in ww2 now we save them god america is great

  • @lockyjose America really isn't great

  • @snipski0894 :( I quite like it.

Not our current foreign policy, but the majority of Americans disagree with it.

If you set aside you're anti-American bigotry, you'll realize it is a great place. Perhaps we've strayed from our path a bit in recent times though, and that's really depressing.

Thanks to all German, British, and American soldiers. (As well as any other coalition soldier, as well.)

  • @Mysteryskatin I'm no "anti-American". I simply told one arrogant asshole that it isn't that great, not saying its bad.

  • GOD BLESS AMERICA AND GERMANY UNITED!

    *breath*

AND FUCK THESE NAIVE RETARDS STILL BITCHING ARROUND ;)

  • German American friendship! God bless both countries.

  • well done my american allies! god bless america nd germany! THANK YOU!

  • @Sven7856 no prblem buddy God bless you to

  • outstanding!

  • MSG Patrick Bonneik sounds like an American, especially with the way he pronounces the -th- sound. I wonder if he was born in the US and immigrated to Germany.

  • @niuchemist many germans start learning english in kindergarden and there are also many language courses for soldiers in the german army.

  • its good to see how at one point we all brought the world to war and now were fighting together to rid the world of another evil

  • Stars and Stripes just did an issue on the MoH and other high medals in OIF and OEF; this story was in there, too. Awesome work by the Medevac pilots helping out the Germans with the wounded. Good flying in a hostile LZ.

  • Wow. What an honor. Well done.

  • We look like Taliban (beard), have new faggot war decorations, congratulate like some gang members in the bronx, allow girls entering combat units and treat our beginners like its used in the russian army.

    Sometimes it makes me sad.

  • soon you'll find them on ebay :p

  • You can tell that German SF soldier learned his English from an American. Solid language skills. I wish I spoke German half as well.

  • that gold cross is the new iron cross. They tried to bring the Iron Cross back to the military but they feared that it could seem a little bit nazi like in foreign eyes. So they got the Gold Cross. But in fact America has now 14 Soldiers with the Iron Cross :D

  • Awesome!!! True brotherhood

  • So what ever happened to the German Iron Cross? They don't award that anymore?

  • @GirAddict The iron cross is a relict of the german empire. For a long time we had no military decorations like medal or so after WW II. In 1980 this changed.

  • @GirAddict

    No, we don´t.

We don´t gas jews and bomb London anymore either.

    Maybe we changed.

  • I want one of those :O!

  • Thats some good stuff!

  • @jetfighter200 Noch keine einzige Sekunde gedient, aber so grosse Fresse.Dich möchte ich sehen wenn du den Spruch bei den Kameraden der getöteten und verwunden Soldaten bringst.

  • GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES!

  • That Patrick Bonneik guy is cute :-)

  • OOOORAH!!!!

  • The most perfect time in the history of the United States for any any American to scream "GET TO DA CHOPPA!" in an exagerated German accent.

  • @Atralis He's austrian.. not german.

  • At 0:36 the guy talking (Patrick) speaks in an American accent but he's in the German Army.

There are Germans in the US military and there are Americans in the German military, that's nice.

  • @e0o9kii doesn't have to mean anything. i'm german, i only have german relatives, but i speak english with an american accent. that's because i'm interested in english and i always wanna pronounce everything as well as possible. others learn english, because they have to and the result is that they don't put that much effort in the pronunciation. ;-)

  • @e0o9kii

But this guy is german ;) ...

I know many germans speak for excample the th like an s.

But I do not and im german :)

  • At 0:36 the guy talking (Patrick) speaks in an American accent but he's in the German Army.

  • This is such a great story,,

  • God bless our allies

  • @RocKz0rDnB oh sure, you say that now. But who did you fight against in world war 2 again? Yeah, thats what I thought.

  • GOD BLESS USA, Germany and Belgium

  • @philbvr5li

vue que les belges n'ont rien à voir avec et dans cette vidéo je me doute sans même regarder ta chaîne que tu dois être belge toi... ah je te jure ^^

  • Makes me want to drink beer out of a glass boot :)

  • 1:28 punch on the shoulder :-)

  • I wanna be in joint operations.

  • I need to go to Germany before I die, for some good beer and great racing.

  • @BLACKOPSIII you are welcome !

  • This makes me very proud & thankful for everyone risking their lives trying to build up a totally forgotten poor & destroyed country , Im an american-german (grew up and raised in USA ,now living in Germany ) served in the german army airbourne for 6 years. My father was an american soldier (served 20 years in the us army) . THANK YOU AMERICA !!

  • Do you Americans know how you once won the hearts of the Germans?

It was 65 years ago when your troops arrived in Berlin and an american GI jumped of his tank in Berlin and gave my 4 years old german father the first chewing gum and chocolate bar of his life.

    Greetings to our american friends.

  • in WW2 germans and americans fight against each other and today they stay together !!!

  • Thumbs up for our Brothers in Arms!

Stay save and God bless them all. Greetings from Germany!

  • @chummer069, yah. we had a bunch of German girls at my school on exchange, everyone of them absolutely beautiful. thank god for German women!

  • THANK U american soldiers !!! god bless the usa

  • to right redmax28 this is realy amazing i have never heard of this happening before I mean the german equivelent of the medal of honor to a foreign army. But we should thank every one fighting in this bloody war so to those i say thank you. DANKESHOEN! GRACIAS! THANK YOU!

  • thanks USA Soldiers

  • I think the german would do the same for them. It is just great how good the different Nations work together on ONE Mission and help each other. Thats a moment the Soldiers can be proud on.

  • 70 Years ago we fought each other, now we fight side by side against the Terrorism.

  • Schumaker ? hehe Americans totally destroy German names XD

  • @Dredgion That's a Dutch name:P

  • @naroj10 then the Dutch destroyed it lol

  • @Dredgion Lol Americans destroyed the Dutch name you mean?

  • @naroj10 its also a german name ^^

  • amazing comradeship, god bless america. greetings from germany!

  • American & German soldiers stay safe! Touching story.

  • I think this is brilliant, absolutely brilliant. All the NATO forces, and people of NATO member countries, must always think when they think negatively of our brother in arms, that we are fighting the same enemy and fighting to protect the same thing.

  • I knew about the accents. That's beside the point.

Very proud of the avaition guys.

  • @WSAT1945

I did know that, and that the accent differs from state to state, even cities. I just couldn't even pick up the slightest accent. Even his 'R's were pronounced different than the soft R when speaking German. But that's beside the point.

I am very proud of the avaition soldiers and am proud to call myself an American Paratrooper and hope I one day have the honor and opportunity to work with the German Fallschirmjaeger.

  • Thank you guys :)

  • Greetings from Ireland. What an inspiring story. Does anyone ever doubt the bravery of Yanks?

  • XD that one german tried to kiss him and he was like whoa.

  • It seems that MSG has no German accent at all when he was speaking in English. Seemed closer to an American accent than anything. Maybe born in the US and immigrated to Germany or born in Germany to American parents?

  • @ArmyCC90 Not every german has that hardcore accent :)

  • @ArmyCC90 actually many german students do a highschool exchange with the us - i´ve been to oklahoma city for a year. maybe he did that as well. many germans can speak proper english without any accent. cheers

  • God bless our ISAF forces risking their lifes every day.

I'd be very, very honoured to receive a Goldenes Kreuz (golden cross).

  • Flags dont mean shit when your out there, hes got your back and you got his and youll team up to take out the enemy! And I love how they get to all wear the beards and then you see the Americans having fresh shaved faces! haha Almost thought the german was a US Specials forces cause his english was perfect and his beard was out of control! haha

  • @Niche79 Men without beards are among the Afghans as fags or something similar - therefore the soldiers wear beards to be respected by the Afghans.

  • @Rick2010100 Yah I know that, its just funny how the US policy is so strict that they have to shave and the Germans is different is all.

  • Im near to cry :)

  • Thx to all American Soldiers ! God bless germany and the USA

    Greetings from germany

  • thanks to the us soldiers for rescue our soldiers

  • get those guys out or die tryin..ich liebe diese art der kameradschaft.wenns jetzt noch armee übergreiffend ist...respect!

  • Thank you Germany for your sacrifices in support of a safer world!

  • @Glendibiri ... the thanks will be even greater if Berlin send forces to the south!! Canada needs help!! one special forces division, and 50 K-9 units is all we ask!! help us!!!

  • @acerb45666555: Hey Canada (from the US), what do you need help from. Your perhaps the safest country on Earth. You practically have no enemies.

  • Thank u us army!

  • thank you America for saving our soldiers in a brave action.

  • GOD BLESS GERMANY!

  • @mstwntd16 .......they wear a desert brown version of the old green and black SS camoflage,(a brilliant design), used on eastern front, and normandy. each branch of the miltary had its own camo. Luftwaffe camo was more dark and choppy looking, with big geometric designs. Wehrmacht kept standard mud grey camo developed in WW1.

  • THAT'S MY BOY!!

  • this is a truly amazing story

  • WOW IT'S GOOD TO SEE THERE WORKING TOGETHER AS FRIENDS AND NATO BROTHERS/ IN THE PAST ALOT OF THE EU ARMIES HAVE NOT BEEN VERY HELP,OR TAKE FIGHTING TERRORISM SERIOUS HOPE IT DON'T TAKE A 911 TYPE OF A ATTACK TO WAKE UP GERMAN OR FRENCH ECT ?

  • @Conservativepacheat Germany and France and whole Europe like USA.
