@stockmaster1982 All I'm saying is. Royce Gracie once considered one of the best, Tito Ortiz once considered the best, Chuck once considered the best, Fedor once considered the best. But all the time new generations of more evolved and better fighters come along and as much as you'd love to keep see fedor winning, other HW's have matched his skills but have the extra bulk to make all the difference.

@mazzadude I agree, you do have a very good point! But Fedor's era, was a time when fighters were very skilled. Yes, fighters do get better, and as this sport evolves, fighters will be much better than they are today. But underestimating Fedor's era, is nonsense! There were great fighters like Nog, Crocop, and Coleman! And Coleman happens to be the 1st guy to popularize the ground and pound(which is still used today)! Chuck was only considered great in the UFC not in the world like Fedor!

@mazzadude As for Royce Gracie, he was very dominant during his time, when ppl didn't know BJJ! But he's a legend no doubt! Fedor still is a great fighter! He may not be number 1 anymore, but do you seriously deny him as a great fighter? Because you're way off here! And lets also factor in that fighters get worn out after fighting for 10 years! So, in all fairness, i still think Fedor is top 10! And he was number 1 for 10 years! That earned my respect and that's why he's loved everywhere!

@stockmaster1982 I think it's hard to really know whether or not fighters do get 'worn' or not. Because that could also just be the fact newer and better guys are coming. I mean Fedor has beat almost all the guys who have been put infront of him, but if you look at his record with an unbiased eye, he hasn't beat a top opponant since 2005/2006. That said of course he is a legend for what hes done. But I don't see him competing with the top HW's now, he'd be very good if he dropped to LHW though.

@mazzadude Well in all fairness, that was a comment made by Dana White a while ago, and for some reason, everyone seems to use it to attack Fedor! "He hasn't fought anyone since 2005" Is probably the universal phrase when it comes to bashing Fedor! I think that's a unfair criticism. He hasn't fought the number 1 hvywt since 2005, but he has fought top 10 heavyweights consistently. Arlovski is one of them until he got beat, so is Werdum, and Antonio Silva! I'll leave out Tim sylvia he sucks!

@stockmaster1982 If u look at rankings back in 07-08. Arlovski was ranked number 3 heavyweight at the time. And tim Sylvia was ranked number 5(even though i think he suck). But Nog&RAndy fought Tim Sylvia, so the competition was adequate! And than FEdor fought Werdum, and Antonio (who's definitely top 10)!!! These are quality Strikeforce hvyweights! And plz don't tell me they're not top 10 because they're not in the UFC! Cain Velasquez is a former strikeforce hvyweight. Dont underestimate!
