Things are in the works to perhaps have her do a performance of a handful of her best pieces with a better camera. Check back in a few months for more videos! Thanks for the compliment! I will pass it on to her!
Thank you so much for the comment! (It's actually my sister singing in the video). I'll definitely pass your compliment along to her. Have a great day!
Hello there in Singapore! Unfortunately the only camera I had at the time was not of very good quality and so this is the only recording I have of this performance. I can mention to Brittany about the possibility of singing it again but I'm not sure what her feelings on that will be because as I had written in the information this song was performed at a funeral for a close family friend. Thank you very much for the compliment. I will definitely pass that along to Brittany!
Very, very nice, Brittany. I always loved this song. The ending is a little different than Al Hibbler but I like it. My compliments to the pianist also. I have been searching for an accompaniment track and I haven't found one yet. I would love to sing it myself. Joe
Thank you for the compliment, I'll let Brittany know that you hope she continues singing. Brittany is taking a break this semester from Choir but we hope that she returns to it soon too. Thank you again!
Tiffany, addendum to recent comment: I also listened to the version by Al Hibbler, who had a hit record of it in 1955 (when I was 9). It's very nice. But . . there's something about your rendition (even tho I generally don't like soprano solos). Somehow more heartfelt -- was John V. someone special to you? Even if not, I'm sure all his loved ones appreciated your effort to learn the song overnight and sing it so beautifully. It has really touched me.
I usually reply to comments as soon as I get them but I didn't know what to say to such an amazing comment. The person singing is my sister, Brittany, and I (Tiffany) uploaded the video. John was the grandfather of close family friends who we have known for a very long time. They asked Brittany to sing at his funeral. It was a really beautiful ceremony and his granddaughters said some really touching things. (continued)
(continued)I'm really appreciative of your compliment and I will definitely pass it on to Brittany who will be very appreciative too. After all, it isnt every day that someone tells you that they were inspired by you to re-seek faith. (It means even more because Brittany has always tried to use her voice for God). Im not sure what you experienced in your life that turned you off to God but I hope that times are better for you now. God Bless! Thank you again.
I also have been a fan of Al Hiblers version for years but I love Brittanys version,I would love to hear her sing it with an orchestra behind her.Fantastic.
I sang this song in choir probably 50 years ago. I don't think I've thought of it since. But somehow tonight it popped into my head. So thank goodness for You
Tube, within a few minutes I was listening to your beautiful rendition. It's a very moving song -- even for someone like me who gave up church decades ago. It has made me start thinking again about what life is really all about. I'm so grateful to whoever filmed this and made it available to all of us.
I was searching for this song for my granddaughter. My daughters sang it at my sons funeral it was one of his favourite songs. You have a beautiful voice. Thank you for allowing us to hear it again.
I love this song very much...although I just kner this song within today. Know what? Teachers planned to sing this song again with all of us in the Graduation Mass! I am so happy and that's why I come to YouTube to look for this song! Thanks alot, Tiffany! :)
Actually, the sheet music was given to her to borrow so I'm not sure where she got it from but I know she had to return it. It may have been copied out of a church hymnal. Sorry, I can't be more help but thank you for the comment!
I really love this song espcially when I was in highschool, during those time our school sponsors a mass and we students sang as the choir. this is very meaningful. even the greatest sinner can be saved by a prayer as our good Lord says, "I forgive".. God bless
Thank you for the compliment! Brittany doesn't get too nervous before a lot of her performances but because she had just learned this one and she had to perform it during a funeral which was really important to our friends she was a little worried but thank you for your compliment because it certianly makes her feel better to know that people liked it! Have a great day!
You would never know that she just learned the song. I remember learning this on the organ as a child. I don't even remember how I learned it. Good job. Sorry to hear about the occasion. I just got back in town from a funeral. God bless you!
Wow fantastic voice

TiffanyM15. Please pass the message to Brittany.
Brittany, You have a beautiful voice. Well done !!! Praise the Lord. Any possibilty
of posting the song again ? The sound quality was a bit weak and the picture
grainy. Are you still singing today ? Anyway, Congratulations and God Bless ! Writing to you from Singapore.
