the front is no where near as scary as the back. I know that sounds backwards, but that was my experience. for some reason, when I'm sitting in the back on this ride, nothing in the world could convince me that I'm NOT gonna fall out during that drop.

It's a great ride, though Six Flags' continued indifference to any sort of theming is troubling. Scream! in Valencia is also built right onto old parking lot territory, with no effort put forth into masking that.

I LOVE Six Flags parks, but they could learn a lot from the Busch Gardens folks.

KyleTwoo Kong is good, but Medusa is longer and smoother for me, for that reason, it's better. And Paskenta09, yes and these kind of rollercoasters are made extra safe bcuz they go up-side down and they're floorless. So u have nothing 2 worry about. Am i right?

Medusa may look gigantic, at first I was scared, but I told myself to just go, I was in third row, don't sit in the middle, you really don't know whats comeing. Just go, really smooth, if you don't go, you'll disappoint yourself later on when you leave, my advice is sit on the very right, mainly because it's your first big coaster, and you want a memory right, well camera :)

To fellow riders who have been on this, I am really scared to ride Medusa. By past experiences, could you tell me how bad this ride is. I have been studying for days, looking at all the videos and reading (I know, I'm kinda a nerd) and I think that I need just some comments. So who thinks I should ride this and how bad is it? iono. i think this is one of the best rides in norcal because it has a long, straight drop, has a lot of inversions (7, i think) including a zero-g roll, and is overall very smooth. if you don't like tall rides, or get sick when going thru loops, then i wouldn't ride this. actually, voodoo kinda makes me sick, so i think you'd be fine on medusa unless the drop scares you.

This ride in my opinion is the best one in norcal for many reasons. Its long and has lots of inversions. Also its a very smooth ride not as bumpy as many others. And also its very safe that you wont have to worry about falling out on the ride. So Overall this ride rocks and its a must if u go to the park
