This came out in 1986...in the early days of MTV. I remember it very well. I moved to southern California in 1987 and this was a very popular slow song at the local clubs. I asked my future wife to dance to this tune the night we met. Twenty-three years later, I still love this song and am still deeply in love with her. Happy 20th anniversary, Vickie. This is going to sound weird but I don't care: I've always loved this song, it takes me back to a specific summer when I was 12 yrs old. I love to sing, too; I pick this to do at karaoke all the time. But I sing along with this version on my own time, when I'm warming my voice up, and the harmonies sound great because I'm a touch lower than Criss. After coming back here like 6 or 7 times, I thought I should fess up and admit it, already! This sounds TERRIFIC! Good job.
