I believe this video is from March 20th 2003. SF stated we would shut down the city if America went to war. So we shut down the city and it turned into a 4-day police state - business was not as usual. The point of a protest is to disrupt ordinary life in order to draw attention to a political issue. That sometimes means not listening to what the asshole police tell you to do. But then again in a way I suppose your right because if your going to disobey the police, you should expect a beatdown.
