@lugonic97 it's the -500 series namely the 737 classic. Southwest operates a fleet of -300s, -500s, and -700s. but they just ordered new 737-800s from Boeing and will be acquiring the 717s from the AirTran merger. so yeah, they'll be replacing their aging 737 classic fleet soon
@RJfan Had your facts had any sort of actual references, you would know that as of September 29th, Southwest announced that the Boeing 717 aircraft aquired from AirTran will be phased out because of fuel costs. And yes, -800s are on order from Boeing. That doesn't mean they'll be replacing their aging classic 737 subfleet "soon", though. Moreover, they're just getting newer planes with more seats.
I live in MD, and go to watch airplanes land at the BWI viewing area all the time and it is so rare to see any planes takeoff on 33L, they land here all the time, but almost always take off on 28, I wish they would takeoff more here!
After a pilot has completed his flight in to another state /airport what does she or he do are hotels provided for them

@bigwill619 Yeah I get that I took flying lessons, lol even when the winds are right down that runway they never use it for takeoffs.
