This is not entirely accurate, from what I have seen of Japanese culture... their view on sexuality is definitely different than the US, but I would argue that sexuality is more or less at times viewed as crude and obscene there too. It depends a lot on the details and context.

This show represents the absolute limits of what's allowed on latenight Japanese TV. And keep in mind this is the DVD release, the tv broadcast WAS censored in places. :) Particularly words like manko.
