This man is out of his mind! If he actually read his bible then he would know that God desires obedience and not money. Sheesh! What is God gonna do with money? And NO, seek first the kingdom does not have anything to do with what this delusional man is saying. I feel bad for the folk who actually believe and follow him.
You know what? Perry has a passion for God's people and he loves all people. He is getting bashed all the time because he is doing the work for the Lord.
People who work for satan don't get bashed!
Perry, we love you and Newspring. God has poured out His blessings on Newspring and we are all happy and blessed to be a part of it! Praise the Lord!
@msjesusfreak62@msjesusfreak62 You know what, look up A Purpose Driven Scolding, on YouTube and see why I disagree about your opening statement. Also, how do you define God's blessings? What are your metrics?
He forgot to mention that the tithe never consisted of money. He forgot to mention that the poor were not required to tithe. He forgot to mention that there were multiple tithes that averaged about 23% not 10%
That's the problem with these Brandname preachers--they spend too much time on the "tithe'. It makes you think-Which God do they serve? God or manna? hhhmmmm....think about it!
@soxster101 actually, if you went to NewSpring, Perry preaches on money/tithing about 5 times a year. If you think all these big preachers spend too much time on money, when they really don't, then money must be your weak spot and something you need to learn to give up some of.
@dalynthesk8r First of all, these big-wig, brand-name preachers (false prophets) are pre-occupied with the "tithe"! That is self-evident. AND I do believe in tithing/giving but I don't believe in the tactics these so-called-men-of-God use. They guilt, tell you have to and build up the hopes of people with empty promises just so they can cop the lolly. Remember what the Good Book say--"The Lord loveth a cheerful giver..."!
@CandaceCrumpler Candace, I never questioned whether or not NS was in financial trouble, though others have. Too, what makes you think I have not watched the whole sermon? What PN said in this clip is what PN said. This video speaks for itself. Perry said his god curses his adopted children if they do not tithe. There is no ambiguity to be found. If you find offense, make sure you attribute your offense to the correct source..
WOW! A new way for a prosperity preacher to collect funds. Scare your congregation into believing God will kill their children or starve them out if they won't tithe and let God make them prosperous. Sick, perverted view of God the Father's heart.
Nice example of “scrip-torture”. The ad hominems add a nice touch.
These types pride themselves on preaching against the ceremonial law (e.g. sacrifices, circumcision, seventh day Sabbath – all of which can be traced back before the “law”) but then take the law of tithing into the back room to whore her out in order to fill their church coffers.
When you miss the type / anti-type thread of the Bible that all points to Christ from beginning to end you’ll become very confused.
@telecom2002 ...well said. Perry strongly implies God was unhappy with Cain for NOT bringing the first fruits...but Cain DID BRING HIS FIRST FRUITS! He was a farmer! The sacrifice was not proper because there was no shedding of blood. But now, since Christ has shed all his blood for us, there is no need for sacrifice. Any love offerings should NOT go to a 'church' but to people...directly. The church members saved their money and gave it to Paul....not a church "fund" or "account".
Circumcision and animal sacrifice predates the law, too. Ancient Israel had money. Tithing was about food. It was landowners with crops and animals who tithed, and the tithe was used to feed and care for the Priests of Levi and the poor. The tithe is not used to finance a man's empire. This guy is a liar. He's right, about one thing, though... God will not be mocked. A pastor making a mockery out of God's ministry and giving his flock false teaching has some serious problems waiting for him.
@jbauer2470 They had money. They had coins. One finds such in Genesis. Remember when Jesus told the disciples, when He sent them out, not carry food, extra clothing, or Money?
Perry Noble describes God as being a mobster running a protection racket on His adopted children. Better give God his cut off the top or he will send you child to the doctors office......Tetzel is alive and well.
he's an orphan..............not a son. sad.

This is the 'sermon' where Noble tries to incorporate sex talk into the topic of the tithe.

Perry Noble is a lying devil taking Scripture out of context. Tithing is a lie from the pit of hell.

I like Newspring and I attend newspring, but the stuff he says at the end, is just flat out wrong.
