  • Im muscular but very slim compared to this guy and I can shrug 250 POUNDS for sets of 10. I out lift alota guys bigger than me. I hate that shit cuz I should be huge.

  • as if people are offering advice on his technique, whether this guy is natural or not it doesn't matter, what he is doing is clearly working for him.

    I doubt most of the people here giving advice can even stand up with 250kg even with the wrist straps.

  • I've lay off doing 240KG Shrugs as i did my back in last year Dec, was only doing 200Kg and my personal best is 250kg. i think it was more of a bad form on a bad day, Lernt my lesson big time as i was off weights for around 3 months. back on shrugging now and no probs ! just a word to all Keep good form other wise you end up in pain like me lol ! Good Vid tho :D

  • Shrugging is actually one of the only exercises that, at least in the body building world, is acceptable to use straps on. Your traps are almost entirely for asthetic purposes and if you are training properly you should have already worked your grip and forearms very well. Shrugs is for TRAPS, not for grip.

  • poor strenght. no grip either. drop those straps and stop pulling with your arms and low back.

  • Looks like you're pulling with your arms just a little bit. Not a really big deal but if you're unlucky you may injure your biceps. Try keeping them totally straight if you can.
