  • I have renewd faith in music again.

  • I heard this guy 20 plus years ago.....dam good to see ya still around....dam good!

  • Slaid is always fabulous, no matter where you see him play. Nicest guy you'd ever want to meet, with an old soul, a great sense of humor, and a voice like sweet butter - with a hint of salty gravel. So good for the soul...My dearest friend once sent me photos of him, all faux-signed, "Happy B'day! ~ Love, Slaid"...A joke, of course, but one she pulled off within weeks of her own death from pancreatic cancer after we'd seen him play at the Iron Horse; sobbing together over, "Lydia". Ah, Music!

  • Happy New Year, thanks for this post, one of my faves.

  • I never miss one of his shows when Slaid comes up to Maine .Great show at

"'The Grand" in Ellsworth this summer !

  • dude thnx for posting, Slaid is real deal ::)))))

  • Just discovered Slaid Cleaves when my local station here in Austin played "Wishbones". I cannot believe this man is not more well known, one listen and you can't stop.

  • Love the line:

I've been chasin' grace, but grace aint so easily found.

  • great great singer and songwriter when you coming to jersey?

  • why is the only good stuff on outlaw country?

  • Brilliant song, even when listened a day or two too early... Wonderfull singer and all out great guy as well, I'm glad I got the chance to see him live (thanks dad!).
