i'm a mobile dj looking to add LIVE bongos to my show(BY ME). thanks for this video. does'nt look too hard. i'll give it a go. once i get good maybe a year from now i'll implement in to my gigs.
@mdedj i got an over the shoulder video of the three beats, i tried to send you it in a message but it says you have your friend lock on. On my vids it says "over the shoulder" see if it helps you out
I like how you're explaining the rhythms and different sounds... I just find it really difficult to follow when the drums are flipped (large drum on left, small drum on right - this would be great if I was left handed, lol)... Maybe you could film from over your shoulder so the small drum is on the left? Or just film straight down at the drum heads and then rotate the video in a movie editor. Anyway besides that, it's a great introduction and thank you for sharing! Will you be posting another?
@FrozenKrystal ill try to get started on a vid like that for you, I dont have a tripod and it was a bitch setting up the camera to do this video but lemme add you as a friend and ill let you know.
wow that was really helpful it was easier for me because i've been playing the drums for 5 years but i've never played bongo beats in my life and that was really good. I especially like the second one.

i have the playing cards from the start of the video :D
pandasoul1 1 month ago
@pandasoul1 lol, I used those to center the camera so I could give a good shot of my finger positioning.
Those cards are great though arnt they? Plastic cards designed to feel like tournament paper. They keep their value too.

@zippo9211989 Yeah I like when you do the riffle shuffle on them or the waterfall, they don't bend for shizz.
