I'd say that was a good idea, but bad execution. The song barely syncs up, and it's not like you can hear what they're saying during it; that's why it would never work. Cool song + Cool movie = ok youtube video.
This is amazing. I think that what this shows is we as humans have been yearning for and portraying the same similar social and lyrical archetypes since the early 1800's. Whether it's through classical music representing a war in 1812, or some modern sci-fi about entering dreams, we like to see: relative calm, followed by a building sense of doom, and then a release/explosion of action, and then some semblance of finality, and then back to calm. It's the cycle of life.
