  • DEA=dick eating ass-pirates

  • @liammasters27 DEA= Government Brainwashed Paid PUPPETS!!

  • Ron Paul/Jim Lahey 2012! Then there would be absolute freedom and some damn peace and quiet in the trailer park, eh?

  • As our childrens future, yes I agree some parents shouldnt be parents at all. They have no value or standards for there childrens future. I think responsibility starts at home behind closed doors, when that can not be up held with the parental control then yes i think that the law has every right to intervein, and start to fix the situation. but to make a criminal out of inocent people just because your scared to allow people to use what GOD left us. SHAME ON YOU, the only criminals are you.

  • cannabis is an earthly product. Earth to useage should not hold a punishment just because some AGENTCY convenced our government that they could get rid of a product, all you have done is create job security for your agentcy, making criminals out of hard working tax paying people. I think people should have the right to use have a certian amount around the home as long as us a citizens are not out causing trouble, unlike the DEA saying we are just by having cannabis in our possession.

  • I think bla bla bla bla bla. bla bla . and also bla bla bla bla. The DEA needs to keep in mind they are here to enforce the laws. not have an opinion on what is going to happend if we as a nation tell the government, there boss, that we feel we should have the right to use cannabis in the privacy of our homes. Yes if certain guidlines are not met and we dont follow the regulations of our government then and only then you should do your job of protecting us as a whole. opinions are one sided

  • DEA agent is a typical politician!

    Blood sucking insect!

  • 50% of drug users are now using drugs in jail (which isn't included in he usage statistics) jails ignore drug use in their jails like makmuud amadinajad ignores gays in iran! BAM!

  • The DEA are criminals. The goon squad of the Feds. Ignorance is alive and well.

  • this DEA is a vary well trained monkey, with his head up his ass. I love how he loves taking your rights away from you....fucking ass hole.........

  • hahaha i dont give a shit if its legalized or not, i mean it would be cool if it was, but im still going to rip my bong in my house every night regardless of what that DEA jackass or any other FED says

  • Nothing should be so as the punishment is worse than the action commited

  • @FoxNewsSmokesCrack nice name. ;D

  • Smoke a joint DEA guy

  • why does it matter what you want? how does smoking a joint or bong in my house hurt YOU in anyway? it doesn't harm me.

(to the part where he is talking about if you want it to increase or decrease. who cares if it increases.

    LEGALIZE HAPPINESS

  • Look at the DEA agent Dodging questions. Does every politician/government worker take a class on question dodging or something? Rofl. Your tax dollars @ work

  • Ron Paul for president 2012

    He wants it legalized!

    bluerepublican(dot)org

Register republican today so you can vote for him!

    LEGALIZE FREEDOM!

  • All DEA agents are fucking liars!! Don't even get me started on the CIA!!

  • That DEA agent is such a fucking liar

  • how many people use it shood go up in fact every one shood use weed the world wood be a better place

  • weed is not a gateway drug, problems in family and social structure leads to more abuse than availability.

Any society that allows the use of liquor has no right to ban any other drug. Liquor kills maims and destroys more people and families than most other class 1's out there combined.

  • @geebus80 DEA= Government Brainwashed Paid PUPPETS!! If We fully legalized it, these clowns would be out of a job!!

  • a prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon our government was founded... president abraham lincon....

  • Hopefully we the people can see through these lies from the government and in this case Hutchinson speaks. I know one day we will. Give the power back to the people and stop brainwashing them!

  • Hopefully we the people can see through these lies from the government and in this case Hutchinson. I know one day we will. Give the power back to the people and stop brainwashing them.

  • Hopefully we the people can see through these lies from the government and in this case Hutchinson. I know one day we will

  • Hutchinson is a pro lie spewer and question dodger

  • Go figure, do you really think a DEA agent would be for legalization. Illegal drugs are thier bread and butter. Legalize drugs and all those DEA agents will have to get another job.

  • Go figure, do you really think a DEA agent would be for legalization. Illegal drugs are thier bread and butter. Legalize drugs and all those DEA agents will have to get another job.

  • of course DEA doesnt want weed to be legal. then their pockets wouldnt be filled with payola

  • I hate fu*%ing government robots... I swear they feed them lies so they can throw them up at the people hoping we'll belive them.... NO MORE LIES!!

  • fuck is he writing

  • oh hey a civil debate about marijuana this is a rarity

  • I just hate how this DEA guys talks, has he ever heard of freedom? Does he understand the concept?

Its about damn time we vote for Ron Paul and we really downsize government, this is just getting disgusting, they have no fucking right to be doing what they are doing. Where are the "oath keepers" to tell this guy what freedom is?

If it doesn't directly cause damage to innocents then let it remain legal, you don't throw people in a cage because you think it can be bad!

  • The quick ending made the NORML guy look huge

  • i voted like and i want marijuana to be legalized

  • Sorry Mr. Hutchinson, but alcohol use DID go down after the end of prohibition. Sure, it spiked up for a short time after the repeal, but within a couple of years it subsided again. Unfortunately it didn't go back down all the way to pre-prohibition levels, but it did go back below the level DURING prohibition.

So the net effect of repeal was a decrease in alcohol use. But unfortunately the net effect of prohibition + repeal was still a slight increase in alcohol use.

    Look it up.

  • @taiwanjohn88 Absolutely correct. During prohibition, there was twice as many bars in NYC as their are today!

  • Ron Paul 2012

He wants to legalize weed to end drug related violence and tax it to increase revenue for the country. HE IS THE ONLY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE THAT WANTS TO LEGALIZE WEED. So get off your lazy stoner asses and vote for him in the primaries :)

Spread the word!! Peace and weed yall

  • Attention pot heads! Attention! The time for diplomacy has passed and our attempts to reason with the feds has failed. With the defeat of legalization in California, the time to act has come. Take the seeds from your bags and venture into the wilderness and plant them. If every weed smoker in America did this, marijuana would grow here naturally, giving us access to limitless plants to take from. Together, we can bring weed to this great nation. RON PAUL 2012!!! COPY AND PASTE! SPREAD WORD!

  • the adovcate for weed said NewMexico TWICE!

  • A marijuana arrest will FUCK YOU UP..this guy's an idiot...i have a paraphernalia ticket...i have to pay $500 and be on probation for a year, and attend rehab classes once a week that costs $40 each class, on top of a PRI class which is $200 and a drug assessment that costs $80. On top of that, random drug testing which costs $10 each time. On top of that, it's nearly impossible for me to find a job...everyone sees the MARIJUANA charge and they instantly discount you...IT FUCKS YOUR LIFE UP!!!

  • @SATAN1KO

holy shit! what state is that in? that sucks.

  • @MN420supporter Fucking Utah...i hate this place

  • if you were smart about it and planned how you were gonna get it, buy it and use it you wouldnt get caught. Just like the mafia, only the stupid ones get caught.

  • @KripDrip when you take a pipe home from the store...you're in possession of paraphernalia no matter what...i wasn't even using it at the time or anything

  • @SATAN1KO wow... ur country is fucked up

  • @BxoxbxbxyxBxoxy That's America

  • @SATAN1KO so...... your against marijuana?

  • @MrGamerman001 Of course not! It needs to be legalized!

  • @SATAN1KO OH ok. sorry im high.

  • man.. i never understood why so many people praise the american legal system as the best in the world.. its completely fucked up.. just copy from the dutch

  • I dont understand this. They are scared of the use going up, well no shit. Saying that they dont want more use of the illegal drug, well if it was legal people would not be smoking something that is illegal! one little word changes so many peoples perspective.

  • everything that is coming out of Hutchinson's mouth is BULLSHIT!!!!!!

  • lmao im a 15 year old in high school you can watch my video of me smoking it took 3mins looking for 1 of the 50 something dealers i know

  • it is completely true that pot is more accessible than alcohol and pharmaceuticals, or at least this is true in my case, as a teenager i could attain pot much more easily than alcohol or perscription drugs

  • As well spoken as NORML rep's are, I'm saddened for such a weak rebuttal of the misinformation delivered by the DEA rep. To describe cannabis as "harmful" and with no redeming value is pure unsupported nonsence. Enough with the legalization talk. All laws regarding cannabis should be repealed. As if they never existed. It is a herb like oregano. Would you support a law which regulates oregano?

  • Think of the children! For the love of all red herrings please think of the children!

  • The woman caller from South Carolina is awesome!

Has Asa seen the results from when Holland decriminalized Cannabis? The percentage of people who use Cannabis decreased. Did he look at what has happened in Portugal? Recently Portugal has decriminalized drug use and the percentage of those using drugs has been decreased. It's been proven that decriminalization would bring about less drug use. Do your homework next time Mr.DEA

  • The woman caller from South Carolina is awesome!

  • Ahhhh the gateway theory fallacy, these idiots tout it around as if it has any credibility. Marijuana is not cocaine, nor meth, nor heroin, but because you lump it all in the same category, there's no room for real education you jagoffs. I drink water, then i drank milk, then i drank soda, *GASP!* Is soda the gateway to alcohol? Pure nonsense. And did anybody else see the irony that the republican caller was from DuPont Pennsylvania?

  • LOL "Drug use has declined" Yea, ILLEGAL DRUG USE, Legal prescription drug use is skyrocketing, it's all about legality, and who decides legality? People who are invested in making sure natural medicines are made illegal.

Stupid ass big pharma, you'll stop at nothing to "Medicate" us to death and line your own pockets.

  • The what about the children argument is BS, it easy to get it as a teen you don't get IDed and its in all the high schools

  • It has been in High Schools for longer than I have been alive, a half of a century, and I'm certain for as long as there has been High School...SO FUCKING WHAT? Haven't seen anybody losing thier mind over it, or any thing else for that matter. Maybe I'll go smoke a bowl to alleviate the migrain that will be coming on after reading all of the uninformed drivel...

  • Drug use has declined? BS prescription opiate abuse is through the roof and there's still lots of coke and meth around

  • the first caller is a fucking idiot, making a legal age for marijuana would most likely decrease buying for children. From experience, I can say that for and underage person it is MUCH easier to obtain marijuana while it is completely illegal than alcohol OR cigarettes

  • more kids drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes than smoke marijuana cause alcohol is legal.

  • @KripDrip thats not true, maybe according to surveys, but if you had a brain you would know that surveys are not accurate. Especially for kids, nobody is going to check a little box admitting that they do something illegal.

  • Use only looks like it goes up because it means more people are coming out of the closet. Protecting gays against gay bashing religious nutjobs doesn't increase people being gay, it just brings them out of the closet too. Different situation, same shit.

  • asa hutchinson needs to smoke some weed.

  • The issue is not "whether prohibition works" - the question is "whether it is appropriate for the government to interfere in personal decisions." Pro-marijuana people should always shift the debate onto those terms.

For example, who cares if alcohol prohibition reduced drinking? Prohibition was wrong whether or not it "worked."

  • Marijuana use cannot increase due to the fact that everyone who wants it legalized already is uses it.

  • @retsnom92 BUT. the question is, if you use "anything", what happenes next?

  • Comment removed

  • @Zares28 using drugs doesnt make you a bad person. Usage is only bad IF the drug suggests a threat to ones life. I read this in a college philosophy book.

  • @TheZookeeper48 Are you talking about people who use harder drugs are gonna want to reform all drug laws? Yes probably so and I also support that because a person who is addicted to a drug should NOT be treated as a criminal but rather a patient. Human rights are more important than what the government wants to do with us.

  • @retsnom92 Of course it can increase, and not all that want it legalized are using. You people are not thinking very hard on this one. What about those with jobs that UA, armed forces, and just those johnny do gooders that will obey the law even though they disagree with it completely and think it is immoral. Trust me they are out there, unfortunately.

More people would be inclined to try it if it were legal, and there are some people who are scared thinking people "lace" pot.

  • @retsnom92 I want it legalized and would never smoke it.

  • @retsnom92 not true

  • @retsnom92 Which is exactly why the only way to get marijuana legalized is to educate the idiots who believe that marijuana should stay illegal.

  • st pierre is boss, US gvt is garbage, weed aint no drug, its a mutha fuckin plant

  • @7StevieWonder I'm glad that you support the legalizing of cannabis, but not once when stoned have I thought "Hmmm, doritos sure dosent sound good... I think I'll go do some meth" or "Hmmm, I'm so peaceful and spiritually in touch with the earth and god, I think I'll go rob a mini mart" so cannabis is NOT a gateway drug to harder drugs or crime

  • he forgot to talk about the percent that the use of prescription drugs has changed.

  • Hahahha, the dea guy said "Tax Moneys" Lol, what an idiot.

  • I believe the DEA guy is on drugs~~

  • what history says that if you legalize a drug use goes up u white piece of shit?

  • @sanjit530 you may be right, but that doesn't excuse your bigotry. Many "white pieces of shit" agree with you, motherfucker. Why do you have to insult them? Dumbasses like you only make it easier for our opponents to discredit us. Grow up, or be seen and not heard like the rest of the children. Liberty means everyone, dude

  • @flythegadsden how am i insulting any white person except for this one when i said "U" refering to that guy in the video

  • esse vagabundo maconheiro quer vir para o brasil matar nossas crianças.não conseguiu legalizar esta merda lá,deveria mandar esse cara e esse sociólogo vagabundo prá fora do país a pontapés no rabo.

  • Legalizing marijuana is actually better for the youth of America. So long as kids stop coming into contact with drug dealers who they often look up to and who try to push their harder products on these kids, we've done something right. Marijuana is a gateway drug because it's a gateway to the dangerous criminal element of the country. That's the serious problem here, and it's entirely due to the idiots in government like Asa here.

  • why dont they just vote for Marijuana or against Marijuana let the people of america decide

  • I wonder is Asa Hutchison knows that over 80% of the country hates him

  • if drug use has gone down, why are 89% of those in prison are non-violent offenders. ive even heard this from a reformed convicted fellon! who was suposed to be in prison.

  • of course the DEA is against it, he would have to find a new job afterward

  • oh no use will go up! yeah and no one will overdose, die, or be in the emergency room for a legitimate reason

  • Yah!!!! Go norml!!!!!!

  • Legal or illegal I am going to smoke it and I am not alone. I will decide how much power the government has over me. I am a free person and I will conduct myself as such.

  • did he say "heighth"? 3:43

  • Comment removed

  • Fact: 100% of the reasons people give to keep cannabis illegal, are nothing but lame excuses and there are reasons why their reasons are meaningless or fake or flat out LIES!

1937: Black men rape white woman because they smoke marijuana. Mexicans have marijuana and by making it illegal, we can arrest all the black people and mexicans we want and use this "mexican killer weed" as the excuse. Well then, there is no debate, as of today, marijuana shall be illegal! Good job government, racism 4 all

  • Stupid people = against legalization

    Smart people = for legalization

    Always the same ;-)

"The children, teens, save lives, sending the wrong message, people will be able to get it" and so on, it is all trash excuses.

9:45 ROFL "thousands of arrests" try millions or billions. "It's not something that destroys a life because of an arrest" What is a criminal record and background check for employment, a joke?

  • Stupid: against legalization

    Smart: for legalization

    Always da same ;-)

  • Why do people care? Stop worrying so much about what other people are doing.

Hahaha, the first caller. You know someone doesn't have a leg to stand on when they use "the children" in their argument.

  • i almost cried when prop 19 failed.........then i smoked some eed and i was fine :)

  • score one for norml!

  • legalize

  • yea thats true cigs are legal and i dont smoke em

  • thats all he has to say is increase and decrease

  • the dea wants it illegal cause they get a thrill out of penalizing people for it

  • yea this dea guy is talkin out his ass fuckin lyin asshole they will lose money thats all there is to it if i were there thats what i would say

  • i dont like that dea guy i would love to beat the hell out of him and spit all over him

  • yea the dea wants it illegal cause of money regardless if they have to kill inocent people and lock them up for it

  • Wow our country is run by a bunch of idiots. The DEA is just worried that it will cut their funding. Bunch of crooked assholes. They know damn well that it should be legalized. Anyone with half of a brain knows this.

  • around 10:25 the former DEA head says that it does not ruin a person's life to have a marijuana charge on them. actually, it does. my friend got caught with one gram of marijuana and now he can no longer receive grants to go to college.

  • DEA= defiles every amendment

  • Why the fuck cant anybody against weed talk about it without bringing up other drugs????? This guy was in the DEA, a group that will lose money if it is legallized.

  • Hutchinson says marijuana shouldn't be legalized because it is not the right way to go about decreasing marijuana usage in society.

So if we want candy consumption decreased, we ban it? Should be we ban fast food to decrease its consumption as well? What about TV? The question of whether or not marijuana use will increase is irrelevant. You dont use FORCE and confiscate individual rights to alter society as you see fit. That logic could allow for many other freedoms being taken away.

  • has anyone played the snake game on the loading screen of the youtube vid and whats up with typing in those weird words when i wanna fuckin comment on something..... makes me not wanna have an opinion

  • I believe they misspelled his name, Ass* Hutchinson.

  • clarification/explanation: contemporary gov't action towards its agencies is to give (or increase spending) only if all is spent during a fiscal year. If that money is not spent, and the DEA no longer has to chase drug cartels that make money off of marijuana trade, it would probably not spend all the money allotted to it each year by the Gov't, and thus less employees would be needed within the agency.

  • Comment removed

  • how much less money would a gov’t agency, such as the DEA, lose if it no longer had the vast number of drug cartels operating due to illegality of marijuana? Is it possible the DEA is taking this stand to protect their own jobs?

  • AYYY!!! SENSIBLE SOUTH CAROLINA STAND UP!!!

  • of course it will go up! its been illegal for 73 years you dumbfuck!! but the will go down... after about 5-7 years lol

  • would you vote yes for prop 19? If yes give me a thumbs up if no then give me a thumbs down.

  • what is the federal government gonna do arrest over 3 million users in California cause there in violation of federal law i doubt that HIGH-ly....Especially with all the over crowding in prison now??? think about it DEA

  • Hutchinson Is Bitch ass Nigga

  • @ 4:24 ... a what now? A harmful drug? How can this man (it's a man right?) not know a harmful drug from a herb or flower that can be eaten or smoked or rubbed on the skin like garlic or catnip.

The only success he is talking about is the success in filling the jails for the companies that make money from managing jails, or law enforcement groups who get funding for lots of fun toys they get to ride around in and get to use against so called free people.

    @10:10 he meant millions.

    peace,

  • God damn! He got destroyed at 5:00

  • Alcohol consumption has risen 1. the population has gone up. 2. because it's the only legal way to get a buzz.

Cannabis is much less harmful, and the Netherlands, which it is legal, use of the population of the country has decreased. In fact overall crime has decreased, they've even had to close prisons.

    Stop the Refer Madness!

    Legalize it!

  • The facts are out! How the fuck do we allow these people to continue to speak on this subject?

  • Starting at 5:00 the DEA Dipshit gets owned.

  • perhaps we need to look at the propaganda against marijuana for the "gateway theory". Almost everything they teach in schools, is a LIE. When a student who is taught these lies learns that they are not true, they begin to become curious about what else is being lied to them about. Teach the Truth. Let them decide with the truth if they want to use or not. LEGALIZE, TAX, CONTROL, TEACH THE TRUTH, SOP THE PROPAGANDA!!!!!!!!!

  • Fuck the police!

  • 8:03 he forgot prescribed painkillers as a gateway drug, that's how most heroin addicts start out

  • "Do we want marijuana usage to increase, or to decrease?" How about, "Who cares?" It's not about reducing or increasing the use, it's about no longer making people into criminals for choosing to smoke marijuana. It is not harmful, it is not addictive, so whether people use it or not does not matter, as long as they have the choice.

  • THe former DEA agent is such a fucking idiot.

He keeps coming back to an argument that "legalization of marijuana will INCREASE usage". First off, I dont believe that any increase in marijuana use would either result not have any negative impact on our country. Certainly not any impact comparable to problems that arise from alcohol use. In Holland, where they have legalized marijuana, usage has actually DECREASED. His argument is a house built on sand. He needs to get over himself and smoke a j

  • LEgalize weed, and....umm....FUCK YOU DEA

  • Comment removed

  • The DEA guys only argument is, he does not want to see more people smoking..... That is not his choice.

  • St. Pierre wins round 1. ..

  • St. Pierre wins round 1.

  • Asa, why do you continue having interviews with Alan? His truths DESTROY your ridiculous, tired lies. It's funny, but Asa even has the face of a swindler. Also, could the announcer have had more trouble saying "National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws?" LOL

I mean, of all the things in his script, this is what he should have seen BEFORE he even wrote it (or got it).

  • When I was in high school, cannabis was easily available and I could buy it easily from three different dealers, who also happened to be under eighteen. It would have been much harder to obtain if it was legalized back then since I didn't know anyone over twenty-one at that time other than my parents. Saying cannabis will be more readily available to kids if it's legalized is a total fallacy.

  • asa hutchinson is a devil

  • Sure it will still be against Federal law, but it will put much needed pressure to change that law. In the Controlled Substances Act, all you have to do to deschedule marijuana is to strike two lines, one for marijuana and one for THC. The procedure to do that is to ask the head of the DEA to do it. If political pressure is continuously applied, at some point they will have to say yes, then the DEA will have no business in marijuana any more.

  • how come when ever someone talks about y weed shouldnt be legal their the ones that look stoned with those big smirks

  • OF COURSE the DEA leaders oppose prop. 19!

  • @69ofdoom

...shall ensure that no Federal funds appropriated to the Office of National Drug Control Policy shall be expended for any study or contract relating to the legalization (for a medical use or any other use) of a substance listed in schedule I of section 202 of the Conrolled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 812) and take such actions as necessary to oppose any attempt to legalize the use of a substance that is listed in schedule I of section 202 of the Controlled Substances Act {paraphrased]

  • Yes...that is the whole idea.. THE USE WILL GO UP!

  • The DEA is the enforcement arm of the Bankers!

  • @ispeedtoo DEA=government paid puppets

  • @ispeedtoo You mean corporate bankers, Credit Unions are owned by normal people...news.dedlines.com

  • Let's see, one can take dangerous prescription drugs, like oxy, ambien, aspiring and drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes in front of kids ... which are all dangerous drugs ... legally ... ASA is a moron! I'm just speechless ... these are our leaders?????
