  • What a LOAD of Progressive-socialist HORSE CRAP!

  • @Kurtlane

    lol so silly you people.

  • Interesting how what I wrote got so many thumbs down.

I guess I hit the nail on the head. Truth hurts.

  • @Kurtlane

Want to remind you that even though 72% of Americans want single-payer healthcare, the media never once debated the issue.

  • @Kurtlane Fox News does not even bother with telling any sort of truth. It tells you exactly what you want to hear, which is why it is so popular. If you are so closed-minded as to find this video "discredited" by the appearance of Chomsky, I'm assuming you've never taken the time to investigate any sort of evidence that Fox News jams down your throat. That's why your comment received so many thumbs downs, because you're what's wrong with the media today. You are the sheeple. Time to wake up.

  • Intellectualism vs Common Sense.

Anyone living in America knows what channels are liberal and which ones aren't. The annoying thing is having to watch multiple channels in order to get the complete story. I have never heard anyone silly enough to deny the presence of bias.

  • It has nothing to do with left or right. It's about whether the media is in position to say what the want.

  • did you even watch the video?

the owners of all mainstream media are to the far right. any 'liberal' news is that way because it gets them the most money and is their niche market.

  • Yes, I watched the video and what do I care why a network leans left? (or right)

This is like a video explaining why the sky isn't really blue. It's all colors but blue has the shortest wavelength so it is seen as blue by the naked eye.

You can spend all of the time you want and you can make a good case if you use enough technical jargon but all a person has to do is look up and pay attention to see that the sky is, for all intents and purposes, blue.

The same holds true for the networks.

  • @Bryan1108

The metaphor is more akin to everyone your entire life telling you the sky is green. I don't see how the media is liberal especially since countries like Venezuela are made to look like evil dictatorships and how there are so many Business networks when the bottom 90% of Americans only own 23% of stocks.

The media are made in the interests of wealthy elites who really can't be "liberal" unless it's on things that don't hurt the bottom line.

  • @Bryan1108

I've heard plenty silly enough to assert this w/o proof, as you have just done.

  • @DDBOOGER this one segment doesn't prove anything....but did you watch the show with all 6 parts?

  • @Bryan1108 The problem actually isn't left vs. right. It's that there is no left vs right, instead, you have all rightwing media with rightwing ideas, and no ACTUAL left-leaning stations. The illusion is that some stations are left leaning. In fact, they're not. So, if you scan all of the new stations, you still will only be getting half of the story. I recommend you get your hands on this entire video. It's only about an hour long.
