@butterfly16rocks Nope, there are videos here comparing this to the Focus, and they generally say that the focus is better unless you want a keyboard.

The other advantage of this phone is that it's cheaper on ebay.

@naveenc69 data and messaging is different.on data plans if depends are ou on facebook and just looking for emails is 200mb for 15 bucks,there is a 2 gigabyte for 25 i believe,i work for radio shack it just depends.and the phone,I love it,i got a spare just incase someone steals the sucker.

@TheCzarOfAgony that's in your opinion but no matter what I'm getting the Htc Status it the phone for me and I would've gotten the lg quantum but I don't like how the apps are displayed like that if the were displayed differently than I wouldve gotten it. I've made up my choice

one last thing is if u leave windows open in the internet exployer it continues to eat your data allowances. you have to go to internet exployer and close the windows. if u do not they stay open in the background and will eat your data allowance according to the plan you have chosen. Ringtone are a limited choice. living with it but ready for another phone that has more of the features i desire.

good sturdy heavy phone.. it has the feature of a flash on the camera and hard qwerty keyboard whicg was some of "must" features i wanted on my phone. I do not like the idea that i have to go through Zune for my updates and music choices. Love the office and one note features. would have liked to be able to download ringtone from other source other than lg which is very limiting in customizing the phone

u also cannot add a sd card. i had all my old info on a sd card from my old phone and i had to manually add info. Also it only import contact info from face book. all other qill have to be added manually. apps can come from the lg app stores

I have own this phone since jan 20111. first thing is u cannot cutomized your ring tone. i had a ringtone i have had on all my previous phone and i cannot have it on this phone. Battery last a short less than a day. i have a back up battery that i carry with me because if u are a heavy talker and texter the battery goes quickly unlike my preivious phone which was the lg xenon.

The lg quantum stinks. no. i take that back, windows phone 7 stinks. i just got the quantum n there is no way to set ur phone to vibrate for text msgs so i nvr know when i get a txt bc i dnt need my phone making noise while im in public so it is silenced. how can windows 7 forget something so basic, yet so very important as vibrate for msgs? it is ridiculous. :(

@irockdemdunks If you have it on high brightness and use it consistently through out the day then about 8-10 hrs...though I have gone about 2.5 days if I limit out much I use it. (no games, limited text and low screen brightness)

Had this phone for a few days, great phone, loved the slide out keyboard. But the camera in this phone is below average, especially in low light conditions, as the flash is not good. Other than that, great phone... loved the windows OS.

So if you like taking pics, you're better off with the focus. i know the keyboard is nice, but i guess you cant get both slide out keyboard and decent camera on WP7 yet. :/

@GuitarEnigmaBrand The music player works in the background when running other applications. Third party apps like slacker radio and zune will not function in the background but apparently MS is solving this issue with an update in March as well as adding a multitasking function (sort of)
