Letting a man's beard grow because he was given beard hair makes sense to me. But makes me wonder and want to ask other questions.. Why let only women grow the hair on their head? Why do muslim men cut their hair short on top of their head? Is that to compensate women for not having a beard? Or to show respect or unity in a way to other men who go bald?

I think the point is that facial hair grows naturally for men only and that it shouldn't be trimmed because it has its purposes. I am not sure if keeping a beard is or is not mentioned in the Quran, but neither is how to perform salah, so should we leave the Sunnah for that also? lol, all scripts are able to be read and historians have not seen one difference between the copies. The arabic script was very primitive at the time of the prophet muhammad (SAW) because the arabs were mostly illiterate so they didn't need elaborate writing systems. Later on as the Muslim advanced in all fields of science, the arabic script also evolved into its present state. On top of the written preservation, there is also oral preservation though (memory), nothing contradicts.

I believe a beard makes a Muslim man more handsome - it is natural and manly. Anybody tell me why the three oldest Koran's differ greatly from each other? The Topkapi and the Uthman are supposed to be original copies from 651 but are at least 150 years later than claimed and written in a script that didn't exist at the time of Uthman. And the oldest from the Sana'a Mosk that is radically different than the other two.

lol, all scripts are able to be read and historians have not seen one difference between the copies. The arabic script was very primitive at the time of the prophet muhammad (SAW) because the arabs were mostly illiterate so they didn't need elaborate writing systems. Later on as the Muslim advanced in all fields of science, the arabic script also evolved into its present state. On top of the written preservation, there is also oral preservation though (memory), nothing contradicts.
