try persol. Hand made in Italy. i LOVE MINE! expensive but worth it. My other ones cost me $5 i wear for heavy use. But when rocking a suit, the persol is the way to go!
The higher priced Ray Bans arent necessarily more stylish then the 10 dollar gas station specials... The reason to get Ray Bans or Revos or any Glass Lens sunglass is the Optical Qualityl... If you have to wear them for long periods of time like Driving or some outdoor activity, cheap distorted optics will strain your eyes and give you headaches... Just because they are not magnified does not mean you can ignore the optical quality of the lens..
Yea I really hate when people wear sunglasses inside of stores, at night or on very cloudy days. Like whats the point? I saw this one guy the other day in the mall with his hood up and a pair of sunglasses on like really?
Bottom line is Sunglasses to be chosen and worn for image but more to protect your eyes from Sun light damage... Why should I buy a $10 unknown lenses to look good only? Maybe an advice of good quality lenses and also frame even spots sitting on your nose are very important, have a look at maui jim a very good frame, superb lens and please mention a poloraized lenses for a better protection,
@damlurker I dont see anything about me saying people will go blind if they dont wear polarized sunnies. Pick another person to debate your out of topic issues maybe or read and understand b4 u reply?
i have some ray-ban glasses, but i dont wear sunglasses because i dint feel like paying for prescription ones. also transition glasses lenses make you look like a douche because they take a short time to turn dark and a loooong time to turn clear.
I have a bigger face. Genetically a big European man. So. I find it hard to find sunglasses that look good on me. any tip on brands with bigger frames and is there a shape I should go for?
you know there is no such thing as THE perfect pair its actually PAIRSSS more than one. you should never go too cheap because that might just be bad for your eyes that is the main reason why you have shades for. i do own close to 50 pairs and i do work for a global optical manufacture and recently bought a pair made of platinum and whit gold. now a day $200 glasses are the new $15. just remember if u cant afford the really high end, dont be tacky and buy knock offs, people can tell
I wanna know with what the sunglass frames have to combine. I have an oval shaped face so I can try on a bunch of different styles and frames, the only thing that is getting me worried is the colour of the frames. I have short brown hair and brown skin. I want a pair of brown lenses and one of lavender-couloured lenses. what frame-colour would you recommend?
Hi Aaron! Your channel is most favourite one. I like your videos so much, really.

I wana be as smart as you are. You concluded this video with a nice, graceful smile.
My facial structure is much like Elvis Presley, and have trouble finding a good frame/shape. Right now I have a pair of AX wraparounds that look good, any other suggestions?
@SirLanceMan I'm sorry if this it bothers you that it's ME who is responding, and not AlphaMconsulting, but my personal opinion is this. Don't do Oakleys. Oakley's usually come in black or white and are pretty sporty if you ask me. They're a bit over-priced, and they're made out of plastic. You might like to go with some metal shades, with a solid colour lens. The lens shouldn't be really anything but black, brown, and maybe green or blue. You'll have to decide there. Hope I helped a little :\
@ANONONTHEJEWTUBE oakleys by far are probably one of the best in the world with superb optics from polarized to gradient smart photo-chromatics and exquisite materials like titanium stainless steel and if u have the money carbon fiber sure they some cheaper plastic frames but the lenses which is the most important thing are never compromised. sporty is just their niche, now a day they come and very cool and even dressy shapes
I know this might seem silly, but i always have trouble rolling up my sleeves on dress shirts and flannels! One side is always bigger than the other, and even if i do manage to get them even, im constantly pushing them up and i cant enjoy the slightly dressed up look these styles of shirts give off! Its extremely hot in Ontario right now, but i still want to wear more than a t-shirt once in a while. if you could post a video on how to do this correctly, it would fantastic and greatly appreciated
I love sunglasses and have several pairs in many price ranges from $10-$15 to ray ban and D&G, but I was wondering what your opinion was as far as having the brand name being obviously seen on the glasses. I ask because of your video on personal branding. Also there is this site Magnificent Bastards that instructs us guys not to do that. If you are familiar with that site, I would also love your opinion because they seem to make fashion really complicated lol.
It's definitely worth paying more money for good quality lenses.
Ray-ban and Oakley have great lenses, and are definitely worth the money. At the end of the day, a pair of sunglasses are to protect the eyes.
Others maybe aren't as sensitive as me, but cheap sunglasses will have distorted lenses (especially the curved ones).
Most lenses are optically correct when flat, but when the plastic is then curved, it refracts light to a different extent at different points (this causes headaches).
Yeah agree, i spent 80 bucks on a pair of sunnies here in Australia at a glasses shop, i only got them because i lost the 10 dollar pair i got in Alberta Canada in 07 from a Gas station, and they looked amazing on me. they broke and i sorta lost faith in them.. mistake :(
Sunglasses are also a skin care item. If you have light skin, make sure you get a large pair that covers the area around your eyes in order to avoid looking 10 years older because of deep lines and wrinkles. I use 50+ SPF sunscreen with sunglasses.
your super hot. one of the best looking guys on the web and your fashion sense is trendy, not exactly timeless or sophisticated. can i offer a word of advice? if you indeed are a professional, why do you use the words retard and douche?
A lot of you look like you're having trouble finding the right pair! I did too until I got some prescription ones. Even if you don't wear glasses, check out the eyewear stores. They have a bazillion frames to choose from and you can get a non-prescription lens with all kinds of sunglass finishes, and a lot of them are very inexpensive. If I didn't need a prescription, my last pair would have cost about $30, and I didn't even check the price tag-I went for the pair that looked best!
Hey Aaron , Ive been wanting a nice pair of Prada sunglasses..Do you think they are worth the money, I mean what makes them different then just a reguler cheap pair other then the Name? Obviously that is ultimatley my Decision (wheather they are worth the money or not, I would just like to get your take on it. Thanks.
@ahhGroovymangroovy One company makes nearly every brand of medium to high end sunglasses. Luxottica in Italy makes every think from oakly, chanel, ray-band, polo, Versace, Dona Karan and everything in between. In the case of high end glasses you really are only paying for a fancy logo. Honestly if you can find a pair that looks as good starting at the $40 dollar range then you are getting the same quality. Chances are they are made by the same people. Look for polarized lenses also.
its not only about the name, the lenses that companies such as prada use are much better than the cheap glasses. Lenses in a cheap pair of glasses may even damage your eyes in some cases, that is due to the ultraviolet rays emitted by the sun. Of course you are paying extra for the name. In any case its better to have one pair of nice sunglasses rather than ten cheap ones. You might want to look into some other brand such as Ray Ban, which is going to be cheaper than prada.
Agreed on wearing sunglasses inside, same goes for it not even being sunny outside... I've seen some douche bags wearing it inside and I puke in my mouth a little when I see it.. I enjoy your vids, thank you
I agree. I was willing to spend 200$ on DG sunglasses but they all looked shit on my horse face. Then I bought something similar to yours, AM. For about 100$ or even less. They look awesome on me and I've got compliments.
Are aviators still in? They really look good with my hair and face. Also where should i put my sunglasses when i go indoors? Hang them on my shirt (v neck), pocket, or what?
my dad had ray bans and they are realy cool . but i prefer cheaper sunglasses coz not all expensive sglss are compatible with your face and some poeple are pushing thier self to wear someting that has a expensive name but not compatible with thier face. as long your comfortable and it looks nice to you go on and wear it.
Ray-Bans is a great brand! You get the same quality of a $300 pair of sunglasses for a fraction of the price. Good call! Persol is my favorite brand for sunglasses.
I've been searching for the perfect pair for me. I found an amazing website for sunglasses. (SunglassWarehouse) I've bought two pairs from them so far, and they're tremendous value.
What do you suggest for a guy with a narrow profile? Most sunglasses are just toooo big for my face. Oakley used to have ones that fit, but now they are all too big.
I used to have a pair of aviator sunglasses because they seem to look so much better on me then any other style. However, because of my prescription, the lens is about 1/2 inch thick which looks retarded from the side. Basically what I was told was that in order for the sunglasses to have a thin lens, they had to be the same style as my regular classes. UGH!!! Also, I hate clip ons!
Talking about Rayban sunglasses, I own 1 too. & yeah, people who wear sunglasses in door do look retarded. To add on that, some do wear sunglasses at night, weirdos. Anyway, great video.
Hi Aaron I like how you covered most budgets. Some high end brands can look pretty cheap. The classic wayfarers have been a strong look the last couple of seasons in Sydney.
I have 2 pairs of shades I got a wal mart for 10 bucks, one of them is what I am wearing in my profile picture here on youtube. Most everyone that see's that picture thinks those shades are Oakley's and they are surprised when I tell them otherwise!
You didn't really say anything! I mean, you just told me to go try a bunch of sunglasses and choose the ones that look great on me... Isn't that what people regularly do? You should try to explain a little further the shape of ur face, shape of the sunglasses thing, and maybe exemplify it with some pictures.
Yes, wear your shorts! Most men have hairy legs, no need to hide them. If the hair is crazy, you may want to trim with a pair of hair clippers with a 1/2 inch guard on it.
Totally agree! another good video, I recently bought a pair of Gucci sunglasses and they don't get much use other than in the car as I'm afraid to lose them! If I ever lost them I think I would be taking names and fingers from everyone within a mile around me! Got to be said tho, they are the most comfortable fair I have ever worn and look amazing!
Thanks. I spend no more than $15 for the reasons you gave and I admit, they look as good as the over-priced models. I cannot afford or justify spending so much money on a pair of shades. And thanks for pointing out that wearing shades inside is not cool.
I was noticing your earings throughout this video, and I need some advice if you could - about various styles of earings, and perhaps even gauges?
I am professional by trade and by choice (I like looking good, dressing sharp, acting proper, etc), but my roots come from a rock youth.
I still like to embrace this part of me, the music and movies that I'm into, and the hobbies I have - and I want a way to properly SHOW this side of me in public while still maintaining the PROFESSIONAL attitude?
Derick, this is a tough question. I have got to tell you that in most professional environments, earrings are sort of a no no. Unless you are the boss! If you decide to wear them at work, I would go with something simple like a small silver stud or maybe a simple small silver hoop. I'm not a big fan of gauges, but they would definitely let people know that you have an edge. Rock On my friend!!!

Good God! Don't sit on those things. You should try and find a knock off pair and wear them like you just don't care!

Thanks. I spend no more than $15 for the reasons you gave and I admit, they look as good as the over-priced models. I cannot afford or justify spending so much money on a pair of shades. And thanks for pointing out that wearing shades inside is not cool.

I hear you brother, cheap shades are the way to go. I break or lose every pair I buy in about 6 months.
