  • amazing !

  • I have a Canon powershot A590 and I was wondering if that would work but I'm not to smart with them so I dont no how to get the thing to go longer, :(

  • one of the best light painting ive seen here

  • Lo más alegre que he visto hasta ahora! genial chicos!

  • This is wonderful! Thank so much for sharing!

  • You can tell that it's video edited

  • @skulls941 No... it isn't actually. It's called shutter speed go look at some videos of light painting tutorials...

  • @skulls941

try it, it works, not edited. just take a long shutter speed (30sec or more) and point a flashlight in the picture.

    that way you can draw.

  • what shutter speed did you use?

  • this makes me happy :)

  • how long did you make it? this is so cooooooool

  • This was so cool to watch, thank you for uploading :)

  • Check out my DEMO and my "Sound of Madness - Lightpainting" video to see what crazy ass stuff comes out when you combine it with stop-motion animation!

  • can u tell me how to make shutter speed more longer after clicking it?

  • teach me how do it, plssssssssssssss. ive got my D5000 but i dont even know how to do like this. LOL.

  • AMAAAAAZINNNNG!!!!

  • Great job.! I really like it :)

  • great idea.....very interesting and lovely, this is something new for me.

really needs a great patience and time.

  • What kinda of LED flashlight do u have? I cant seem me find a colored one.

  • @lovetojump4445

I created the colored light by holding colored binder pockets in front of the lens! Primitive, but it worked : )

  • Awesome vid. I have been a light junkie for a year and was able to pick up a few new tips from you. Thanks

  • Could you please offer me some advice? I also do lightpainting. I don't have a problem with my camera or how to get certain effects, but the problem I have is that I'm trying to create videos or slideshows using my lightpainting pictures. What program did you use to edit this video?

  • @Silverlake99 I used Final Cut Express for the video editing.

  • Thanks! I used a Nikon D5000 for the photos and a Panasonic HDC-SD9 for the video clips. I think you can use any camera that can be set on manual shutter for the photos! Have fun : )

  • Perfect video! What camera did you use? Also any suggestions for a cheap camera to take such photos?

  • sooo cool we r doing this in art class its awesome!

  • thats sooo insane :D how do you guys do that you jus keep makin them over and over?

  • @docboardman

Thank you very much! I'm really glad you like it!

  • nice job!

  • do u jsut take a video with u moving lights and play it rele fast and it works?

  • @thesweatshirtdude

No, it's a combination of photos (put together in a sequence like an animation) and video clips.

  • @WiseLED yeah thought so

  • dope like a coke

  • wow, great job!!

  • can u please send me a link to this theme music at bfoster97@ymail.com

  • @MrTekKid97

Hi, I just made the music for this video, so there's no link, but I guess I can export it as an mp3 and mail it to you, if you're interested!?

  • man can U post some tutorial how to that??????

  • @StraleStrah

Search for "Light Painting Tutorial Video - Fun with Photography" in youtube - it's a great tutorial!

  • Cool...!!!

  • so did you take all this with a video camera or photo camera?? and if you used a video camera how do you do it?

  • @TheSanchomen

I used both a photo camera and a video camera and mixed it all in editing. You can see that there are both video clips and photos.

  • 1:53 is soooo coooollll...

  • luv it.. so cool.. :)

  • That was VERY impressive!

  • very nice~! :)

  • whats the song in the video its sweet

  • @FIREandICE94

Hey, Thanks! I'm glad you like it. And I WILL do some more.

  • this is so cool! how long did it take you guys? it looks like fun!

  • @Flynnia

It took a loooong, loooong time : ) Patience is definitely a MUST when doing something like this. But it was FUN!

  • how did you do the animation ?

  • @HiJustCallMeDavid

Hi David! You draw one "frame" at a time and put them all together in editing. I also cheated a little by moving the photos across the "screen" in a top layer.

  • @WiseLED basically its a bunch of pictures?

  • @HiJustCallMeDavid

It's a mix of pictures and video clips.

  • What settings did you use? im about to rent s d5000 for a rave event and would lik to get some pics of people like this with glowsticks

  • @amanidzzle0057

Hi, I had it on "manual", so the shutter was open while we painted the "picture" and then I closed the shutter again.

  • This is sooooooo awesome!

  • great work, looks like a fun set! must have taken a bit of practice getting all the motions down!

  • got it thanks

  • i know but how did you make or get the wiseLED flashlights

  • I work for WiseLED - that's how I got the flashlights, but you can get them online.

  • such a cool video! good job!

  • how do you make the flash lights?

  • Do you mean "how did I make THE PICTURES"? If not, well, WiseLED made the flashlights : )
