Read up on history before you go making statements. Lenin had nothing to do with the Gulags, the purges, or the Ukrainian Famine, those were all Stalin's policies. Lenin and Trotsky wanted Stalin removed before Lenin died, that was a failure and Trotsky was driven from the USSR because he was against Stalin's rise to power.
