i know it sounds quite a superficial point, but one point i think i would like to contribute here is this:

I think the problem is not with the black woman, its with the numbers. There are not enough black men to go around. If every black man decided "Ok. Today I'm going to get married to a black woman". There would still be close to 2 million black women left unmarried. And according to the statistics, less than 1% of black men marry outside of their ethnic group. The majority of black men, marry black women. But the numbers are not in the black woman's favor. Just not enough black men to go around:(

Second, there are PLENTY of Black men having multiple children with Black women and not marrying them so we are not going extinct! @cpott23 I know of a lot of good quality black men. Ive dated a few but for some reason many black men do not want to get married. They feel as if it is unnecessary and isnt worth it for them. Ive done online dating... Im dating someone now that I met online. That isnt the problem....and I am not hell bent on a man thats 6'6 or 300 pounds. I dont care about all of that as long as you love God, family and self with good communication skills and an appreciation for my time we can roll.

Dating blk women is a chore? I do agree there are blk women with attitudes, but there could be more to this. @JessicaLaShawn It bothers me how we don't hav enough family structure in our community, I would not limit myself to blk men. I know that is not what you like but I think other types may be looking for marriage more often. I know blk men marry but not enough, and it could be due to our culture. Don't give up he might be right around the corner :)
