this is a classic commercial. when i was in 11th grade back in '89 or '88 i think it was, i loved this commercial and i had it memorized and i used to say it to my friends in the german accent and everything and they used to trip out about it. and i am a black man from north carolina.
because i thought that people probably wouldn't have thought that this commercial had such wide spread, cross racial appeal as it did back then. because my friends used to trip out about me trying to imitate the guy in this commercial, especially since i was a black man in america trying to imitate it.
They said that about the 924, 944 & 928 as well but they, like the Cayenne have helped Porsche stay both alive and at the forefront, proving that whatever they build, it will be up there with the best in it's class.
zekerson, Yes I believe you might be correct BASED on what was said by Prof./Dr. F. Porsche on this video. As I wrote for this years Porsche swap meet Tshirt " For those who experience it, no explanation is necessary. Those who don't get it are not Porsche people.
I agree tronester...Porsche's focus is to stay small and independent - which they have done miraculously in light of big autocompany mergers. Porsches are still designed by small groups who know what a Porsche means. It is one of my life's goals to play a small part as one of those groups.
