I would so mug a trucker! but in a cool no one gets hurt I have a cool story now way. it involves hot air balloons, trained gibbons, and a prostitute who I plan to give two thirds of the profits too. I hear ya about the cash my friend. in some ways its good to know that many of us are in the same boat. in other ways it makes me want to stop playing this money game, i dont like it so I dont want to play anymore. E
@bikemessenger7 You would think with everyone in the same boat, we would be able to support each other a little more. However, it feels a little too much of, "everyone for themselves," these days. Feeling right clueless on what needs to be done to make it otherwise. :(
@OrangeScented I suppose I can see a trucker getting that amount of cash, but that amount even in times like this? Debatable? And I'll take my chances with mugging a trucker. My sock full of coins should do the trick. :P
@kimberkali77 Will send my info your way should I ever get desperate enough for some more PB. Though I have to say the mugging sounds very tempting. :P
Its easy to get frustrated at socio-economic unfairness like that and I wouldn't blame you for being so. I'm not going to spout the trite saying about money not being everything either. What I will say is that true poverty is when all of your time is taken up with surviving. Some of the "Rich" spend so much time working in order to keep themselves in the manor to which they're accustomed they have no time outside that. Constantly busy...surviving. no time to actually do the things they want to.
@grnlfe01 There have been times when I felt I've been constantly surviving, though I think I'd need to give up a lot of my Internet time and D&D before I can really say so. In that regard, I'm still in high spirits, though it's coming to a point where they may very well need to be given up. I honestly don't know what the future holds, but I'm optimistic, or at least determined to make progress.
You'll be a rich Director/producer one day man. I know this, for I have the power to make space and time not "matter"- and I saw the future. Grats! :)
@Klankumz I'm thinking...no? Or at the very least feeling it. I know present time doesn't really show where I'm going, but it's going to take a lot more than hopes to get to that position. More to the point, I think I'm lacking what is necessary to be a big shot. At the very least, I suppose it's time to work on getting those things? ;)
You know sometimes, I do envy the rich. I wish that I didn't have to work 40 hrs a week and deal with assholes all night, and I look at what I don't have and it depresses me. Then I look at what I do have, and I relize (I'm a bad speller) that I don't have the berden that the rich has. I have people who love me for me, not my money.
@Undeadbeauty666 A part of me says I can't fully live to who I really am if I don't have the funds to be as such. Then another says that's rubbish, and that even if I was a hobo, I would still be me, living however I can. At the very least, I'd like to be able to pay the bills that keep me afloat in any home. Once there, I can at least work myself up from that point. But yes, hopefully the world at large is capable of accepting another broke man, because that's the way it will be for awhile. ;)
