Crazy Uncle Steve's 2009 Halloween display

My electric bill is only $7/month higher for 2 reasons:

1. Most of the lights are LEDs and

2. Lights are only on briefly

Not all my neighbors feel the way you do! I'm afraid the display attracts some obnoxious people. I'm working on a system whereby my neighbors can remotely shut off the broadcast soundtrack to cause these people to leave.

Yeah, I thought about doing that and I also considered having the city disable the light, however I'm afraid this would upset the neighbors a great deal. :(

I just love this. Kudos to you ! I love the coffin coming up and opening. Very well done. I look at alot of decorated houses for Halloween. Mostly for enjoyment WE wanted to put a pyro tech flaming chimney, but the county wants $500.00 per man for a requirement of 2 trucks on the property. I don't think that they want us to do this. The FD's don't see a dime of the money either ! Talk about GREEDY !!!

I understand how complex (and prone to breakage) animatronics can be, my organist broke several times during its routines and he is kept indoors. I am hoping to make the jump to outdoor animatronics this season and was curious if you were using pneumatics or electronics, I love your smooth movement. Good job on your display!

Ghosts are made of whiffle balls covered in cheese cloth suspended by a piece of fishing line from a loop of nylon cord that loops around three pulleys mounted on poles around my driveway. A 12 volt DC motor is attached to one of the pulleys.
