  • can your hair be wet when doing this?

  • @xoxopatti1 yes

  • I've got some. It works great. Only thing is it starts smelling awful in the hair after a while.

  • can you get organic coconut oil in australia ?

  • @101nickole yyeessss hahaha get it at woolworth coles or flaneries :) xx

  • cooking brush

  • is it okay to use refined coconut oil as opposed to unrefined?

  • @marchelinenyala yup should be fine

  • i tried this tonight and it worked great, plus i have to say EXCELLENT choice on the drum n bass in this video.. you are truly awesome! :D <3

  • is it bad to use the honey if you have color treated hair? will the peroxide wash out the color or just lighten it?

& I loveeee your channel :) always great videos!

  • @DevUhhhKnee it might make it fade some!

  • @DevUhhhKnee If you've seen Andreas Choice vids; the honey actually made her hair look two toned like a bad dye job. You can see what it does for you...but it was very obvious in many of her vids. Not good.

  • I'm so trying this, I don't think my hair is going to be as gorgeous as yours, but it should help ;) thanx for sharing this :)

  • @SMLx0 oh no! I know. I don't meant to put your hair in. But if you just stand in the shower for a while and wash your body first and then change the water to warm then to wash your hair. Does that make more sense? I'm sorry!

  • Or you can take a hot shower and stand in there.

  • @homiehomiehomieho hot water is bad for your hair

  • I think she means stand in the shower and let the hot steam penetrate your hair. Because the hot steam is good for the hair :D im just saying....if thats what she means

  • Is there a diy leave in oil treatment for hair? Like one you just put on your ends and go?

  • @vpintea533 umm i haven't come up with a diy one for that yet but ill try

  • @vpintea533 EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL JUST A TINY TINY BIT ON THE ENDS OF YOUR HAIR YOU CAN LEVE IT AND IT IS GREAT FOR YOUR HAIR PLUS IT IS NATURAL

  • can i use the regular oil that you cook with ? :D someone tell me please

  • I tried this treatment i really love it. I have natural virgin jet black hair. So i don't want to lighten it but i did add honey and the oil together. HONEY DOES NOT LITERALLY LIGHTEN YOUR HAIR it just helps it to lighten if u go to a pro salon. I left this in for about an hour and washed it out it felt soft and shiny. However, i get a tiny tiny tsp of organic coconut oil and put it in my hair while its dry before i style it. ONLY USE A TINY BIT if u use hot tools it will get oilier. <3

  • @missprisss You can, I use regular all the time when I do homemade treatments, but virgin and organic would be a better option =)

  • when should you see results? I did this yesterday and left it in for about 2hrs...washed my hair twice w/ shampoo and condioned as normal (I use Pantene ProV color shield and shine) and my hair feels DRY?? wierd huh?

  • @Bipper12987 You might have not washed it out enough. 2 hours is too long in my oppinion. You don't want it to get to oily. So only 1 hour or 30 minutes if ur in a rush. :) Try putting a TINY TINY drop of oil all over your dry hair before u style it and it will be super shiny and super soft. Only use a tiny bit of oil because if u straighten or curl ur hair the heat brings out the oil and will bring out that tiny bit of oil u added. So use a little drop all over. :)

  • I tried this today but i didnt have the plastic wrap so i just went ahead and wrapped a towel on my head then used a hair dryer to blow it . I dunno if its okay to do that way?>.>

  • YAYYYY I finally got me some coconut oil to try on my hair ^__^

  • i heard that macadamia oil is also really good for your hair. do you know which is best?

  • @missprisss moroccan oil is one of thee best oils. coconut oil is very very good for your hair also. I have thick jet black virgin hair and it made my hair soft and shiny. ive never used macadamia oil i have never used but im sure it will do the job :)

  • could i use regular coconut oil instead of virgin? :)

  • @missprisss Organic/virgin coconut oil is the same thing. Something that is not processed I bought the exact same brand she did with out realizing it. It said "oragnic" on mine not virgin but its the same thing.

  • You should realllly do a hair tutorial update on your hair cut, styling of like curly and straight, and how your hair is like straight out of the shower! Like how your hair is "naturally" :)PLEASE & thanks!!!

  • did our hair really get lighter from the honey?

  • can i use regular honey instead of organic?? :)

  • @25bstars yup

  • If I just use the coconut oil, would it still work as well? I don't want my hair to lighten, so I probably won't use the honey.

  • @heybabyyx0 yep I do just coconut oil all the time, its awesome

  • It every day? But three days before I began, revived the hair.

  • can I use regular coconut, or does it have to be oil?

  • @TamaraMckenzieMartin i would say it has to be oil but idk i've never tried to extract oil out of an actual cocunt

  • I gave this a try, and for the life of me i could NOT get it to wash out of my hair!! I washed it twice! HELP! LoL

  • @SMLx0 Hey can I just use honey on my hair without anything else because I've been trying to get my hair lighter.

  • @reymystic619 yes but i recommend mixing it w/an oil or conditioner so its easier to apply (its very sticky obv lol)

  • @SMLx0 cool thanks so much... Love your vids xxx

  • @SMLx0 Did this treatment last night and OMG the results are AMAZING!!! Thank u so much. How often should I do this?? Xxx

  • @Invernk i usually do like 2 times month, but you can do it one a week if you like

  • u look like megan fox.. :)

  • Oh my gosh. Ive heard so much about coconut oil and how its so good for your hair. I must try it! I use heaps of different oils like argon oils and such. They help my hair alot but ive never tried coconut oil. :) I must try this soon! But i want to try the honey will the honey actually lighten my hair? My hair is naturally jet black and i like to keep it that way. Its virgin hair so i hope it wont lighten it.

  • @KuniKarin01 you can skip the honey if you want, it's only a gradual lightener so it would take a few times to even see results

  • you should wear ur hair up more often, even with the saran wrap on u can see your face shape would look good with short hair. show off ur cheek bones :)

  • Coconut oil is the best! You can substitute it for butter on your bread or butter in popcorn! Its healthier ;)

  • @Nevynevyful yes, it's amazing to cook with! :)

  • i tried this and i loved the results! This is forsure my new hair treatment.. thanks so much for sharing :)

  • @chachingpoww yay glad you loved it! :)

  • Omg, thank you so much for uploading this video, i have really dry hair, im going to try this asap! xox

  • did you do this in clean hair?

  • @CHICKCHICA it was second day hair i believe

  • She said cooking brush!!

  • what?! a cocaine brush? did u hear u right? lol

  • @MakeupAddict102 cooking brush lol

  • The honey is to only lighten your hair? I don't want mine lighter so I should stick to the coconut oil, right?

  • @Jamie22Danielle honey is not a bleach lol honey is use 2 moisturize the hair as well, but it would lighten ur hair gradually n if u apply heat , its not gonna magically turn ur hair blonde in the first use,

  • @Jamie22Danielle yep just coconut oil!

  • No wonder you're so pretty! Filipinas rock ;)

  • awesome, i have dry hair so hopefully this wrks

  • are you trying to lighten your hair?

  • @gandashipley not anymore lol

  • @SMLx0 good good dark hair suits you :)

  • does it matter if its refined or unrefined? i only found the refined

  • @TheLuckyyy23 not a big deal if you used refined, unrefined just means its the purest form

  • i am so trying this! <3

  • Can I use just organic coconut oil? The one I have doesn't say "virgin"

  • @MissFGS should be fine :)

  • you are gorgeous!!!

  • @ayeeeLINDA doesn't really matter, but I usually do it on 2day hair since it's drier then and I'm just gonna wash it out anyways :)

  • Trying it!!! -3

  • Is it okay to use Jojoba oil instead of coconut oil? Because I'm pretty sure that's good for your hair too but I'm not sure exactly.

  • @SexAndCandyHair92 i have never tried it but i think that will be fine :)

  • you would make a beautiful alien. :D

  • @SMLx0 do you have extensions?

  • @Jbloverx1000 i own some but i'm not wearing them here

  • My mom introduced me to coconut oil a loooong time ago. I'm filipina so its something very popular for hair n skin.

  • @pangstersvideos yes i've been using it for so long, my dad's side is filipino so they use it for hair, skin, cooking, everything.. love it! :)

  • You are so gorgeous n sexy at the same time girly lovin ur videos:)

  • i love your videos your sooo beautiful girl! and i love using coconut oil in my hair!!

  • Do you just pretty much replace this with your weekly hair mask ??

  • @Janiceee1333 basically!

  • Do u have any home made primer recipes for the eyes?? Thanks!!

  • You look gorgeous even with the plastic wrap! Def going to try this out <3 xoxo

  • ur so pretty !

  • Sooo going to try this!! Thanks babes!!

  • I'm sorry but the person who said they would never want your hair because it's flat was just plain rude. I mean if you feel that way keep it to yourself. How are you supposed to respond to that anyway? Your hair is beautiful and Obviously many people agree and want tips to have hair like you. People can be so jealous and petty.

  • im really loving your hair color right now, its so pretty :)

  • I used the coconut oil a few times but it makes it shed a lot more and my hair already sheds a lot anyway so I stopped using it

  • @sekao16 really? its actually reduced my shedding by a lot =/

  • @SMLx0 Yeah I have a lot courser, thicker hair than you do though because Im mixed so that might be why but I had also read somewhere else that it can cause excess shedding but I guess it's one of those 'depends on person' thing but other than that coconut oil definitely adds shine!

  • you're so pretty, whats your natural hair color?

  • @paigeydangerously medium ashy brown color

  • @ginahselene nope like 5-6$

  • I do this every 2 weeks and coconut oil is absolutely amazing for your hair. I definitely notice a tremendous difference in my hair and if you massage it in to your scalp, it helps promote circulation to hair follicles and I feel as if my hair is growing at a much faster rate than before I started doing this.

  • @ilovemaccc its awesome, love it! way better than the 30$ treatments you buy at beauty stores!

  • @SMLx0

totally agree. I had one question however, if i have dark brown hair, will 1 treatment with honey make my hair any lighter because I have not tried the honey trick yet and it sounds like a great idea to lighten my hair slightly.

  • Hahahha I love how you still look pretty with the plastic wrap on your head. :) I'm definitely buying some of that oil!!!

  • @ElleJay1211 haha thanks

  • You are so pretty!!!:)

  • wait... i have naturally black hair, if i do this will it lighten my hair dramatically!?....or just a tad bit? i dont want to surprisingly wake up as a blonde. ( no offense to blonde hair girls)

  • @Sweetcaramel591 lol nope! its very gradual and you probably won't notice any results until like 4-5x, but if you don't want to lighten at all just skip the honey :)

  • WHOA! I did this last night and left the coconut oil in my hair overnight with the plastic wrap (hubby was trippin.. lol!) Washed it out the next morning and wow, this is the best my hair has looked in a long long time!

  • @CyndiGarguilo yay, so happy you liked it! :)

  • i need to try this my hair is annoying the f**k out of me ..so dry!!! ughhh

  • @ronabrookemoore def try it!

  • thankyou Steph you are always so helpful!

  • how often should you use this treatment?

im def.! going to try it (((:

  • @starxoxo3 depends how dry your hair is but id say 2x a month or 1x/week ;)

  • hehe, i can totally imagine walking around my house looking like an alien....ahh the things we do for beauty.

great video btw, i will def. try this out

  • @062508ily lol definitley, can't always look pretty to get pretty!

  • Sorry pressed wrong button. I love u and in no means meant evil, thanks for advise

  • You are GORGEOUS! Keep making videos girlly!<33

  • Im going to try this soon! My hair is so damaged and your hair looks great :)

  • does it matter what type of hair you have? like i have thin hair and would it destroy even more?

  • @albo4life97 nope, it actually can make your hair thicker and prevent hair loss too. just use less since you have less hair :)

  • Too bad I'm allergic to coconuts :(

  • @youmakemesmilebby omg that sucks! :( try olive oil instead !

  • missed you steph!

  • @GabMac16 i know, sorry I've been so busy :(

  • @SMLx0 you're hair looks amazing to me! haha(:

  • @thenqueenbee2929 oh my god, no internet "screaming", please. geez. and this is a good treatment, so...isn't that the point of the vid?

  • @xoxSUNSHiiNE23 def give it a try!

  • Your highlights look great!!

  • I love these types of videos ^.^ btw i did this before i straightened my hair like saturday or w.e and you should use olive oil too like both of them together :] it works REALLY WELL :D cause ive been using coconut oil on an off for years? and olive oil the same way and its pretty awesome together :D love your vids

  • @Tacos2332 ill have to try that! :)

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you so much for sharing this! going to be so useful for me as i straighten/curl my hair a lot and it can get very dry will defiantly try this! love your videos keep them up! your my fave guru!!

  • You're so naturally beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • does the honey lighten your hair after one application? or is it more gradual?

  • @claudettedupont It's more gradual. I've done it before...works quite well to naturally lighten your dark hair to a more medium Caramel brown!

  • @claudettedupont its gradual, i've just started adding honey so I will let you guys know how it works :)

  • I really damaged my hair from bleaching it twice and coloring it so much, so would this help my hair go back to normal and not be so dry and brittle ? And how fast do you see results ? I've bought a masque for damaged hair but it seems to just make my hair really oily even when I just put it at the tips on my hair.

  • @veronica122193 maybe 3 times, it will definitely help restore your hair & bring it back to life

  • i don't think you mentioned this - but is it okay to use on color treated hair? i just got my hair dyed for the first time and it's a burgundy/red color (very vibrant) and i don't want to do anything to it that will make it dull or change the color..? thanks in advance! :)

  • @sjpbabyd0ll well, as with any hot oil treatment it can cause your hair to fade faster than normal unfortunately

  • Thanks for sharing I will be trying this for sure:)

  • Thank u for doing this! Im gonna try tonight!!!

  • The Coconut Oil has to be Unrefined. Unrefined is better in terms of more moisture and retained nutirents for the hair.

  • So0o0o Is this your secret? lol I'm def going to try this! Thanks girl!

  • Love your videos!!! How do you keep your skin so clean? :-)<3

  • def gonna try this :) thanks!

  • i love the color of your hair now! what color are you trying to get to?

  • @thatboyismine just a nice caramelly brown
