In the beginning, how come the edge that was supposed to be tucked in looked smaller when it was long? That is the part I have trouble with then everything goes downhill, did you like rip it a bit or something?

WHEN I DO IT IT LOOKS FUGLY. THE PINCHING MAKES THE STAR LOOK LIKE SHIT BECAUSE ITS HOLLOW ON ONE SIDE AND ON THE OTHER SIDEITS JUST STUPID >:(

At first I was using harder paper and it is really hard to squeeze it to make the star but thinner paper is easier.

hey i also make these i have 1031 plus more :3 but i wouldnt use real star paper until your really good i had to learn the hard way :/ so i used all my good paper but thats just a tip and dont worry lol its usual for the backs to cave in when you just start

Yeah you can see in the video I had a bit of trouble because I have no nails. If you try using something pointy. like the point of some scissors, you want to push really hard on one small spot and it will puff up, rather than like i've been doing and just squashing it with my lack of nails!

try using the edge of your nail and press in the middle of the edge ^^

what ive found is, that when you form it, one side always seems to look very crappy, but the other looks good. so try and bend all of the edges towards one side

I just cut up some glittery paper as long as it's about 1cm wide you can try it with most paper really.
