The only thing I would have changed in the game is *SPOILERS* at the end I would have still probably had the thing with big boss, but instead after big boss died I would of had snake die to.He would have put the gun in his mouth and waited there while "the best is yet to come" (from mgs1) played in the background with a little msg to press R1 was on the screen. Obviously this would pull the trigger and you would die, would have been so epic. Still a great ending, though, just my thought.

When Naked Snake(Big Boss) was cloned his clones were only meant to live past his prime(Being slightly after Mgs2),after that they were meant to rapidly die.

Liquid isn't rapidly aging because he's not Liquid exactly,it's liquids mind in Ocelot's body and Ocelot was old to begin with,how ever Solid Snake is still Solid Snake.

In acouple months Snake will die is because like Cloud0988 said "because of the way he was born." or rather the way they made him.

I think the reason Snake is aging so fast is because of what Liquid said in MGS2. He told Snake,"Our raw materials are vintage brother. Big Boss was in his late fifties when they created his copies." Possibly, Big Boss's age when he was cloned would be the lifespan for Solid Snake. According to the story, Snake should be about 42 years old. That's my best guess.

xelpherpolis, your right, mgs 4 is going to be the longest metal gear yet. It finally has a official review in Playstation Magazine UK and the reviewer said it took him 29 hours to complete the game, cut scenes included. He also stated that it was about 1/3 cut scenes and 2/3 gameplay which is opposite of the previous ones. Could be that some codecs might just happen as your playing? i hope so, i love the cut scenes in every metal gear, but codecs being heard while playing is the right direction
